Cornell Desmond Brown is an American football coach and former American college and professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for Virginia Tech, and earned All-American honors twice. Drafted late in the sixth round of the 1997 NFL Draft, he played professionally for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. In 2013, Brown was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.

He is widely considered to be one of the preeminent defensive coordinators in modern football, as well as one of the greatest defensive coordinators in NFL history. Sal Sunseri is an American college and professional football coach who currently serves as the defensive tackles coach for the University of Colorado of the Pac-12 Conference. Sunseri played college football for the University of Pittsburgh, where he was an All-American linebacker. Sunseri produced at least one Pro Bowl player in four of five seasons as NFL defensive line coach, highlighted by Julius Peppers's three consecutive trips to Hawaii from 2004 to 2006.
Anthony Scott Poindexter is an American football coach and former safety, who is the current safeties coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He played college football at Virginia from 1995 to 1998 for head coach George Welsh, and earned All-American honors. He then played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns from 1999 to 2001.

Mike Mallory is an American football coach and a former player. He is currently a special teams analyst for the University of Michigan. Previously he was the Special Teams Coordinator for the Denver Broncos NFL football team in 2022. Before that, he most recently worked as assistant special teams coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football as a linebacker for the University of Michigan from 1982 to 1985. He was the Most Valuable Player for the 1984 Michigan team and was a finalist for the Butkus Award in 1985. Since 1986, he has been a college football coach, including stints as the defensive coordinator for the Rhode Island Rams (1993–1995), Northern Illinois Huskies (1996–1999), Illinois Fighting Illini (2004–2005). He was also the assistant special teams coach of the New Orleans Saints from 2008 to 2012.
Archie "Gunslinger" Cooley is an American former college football coach. He served as the head football coach at Mississippi Valley State University from 1980 to 1986, University of Arkansas–Pine Bluff from 1987 to 1991, Norfolk State University in 1993, and Paul Quinn College from 2000 to 2006. At Mississippi Valley State, Cooley coached the tandem of Willie Totten and Jerry Rice, future College Football Hall of Fame quarterback and wide receiver, respectively.

He is the special teams coordinator and wide receivers coach at Norfolk State University, positions he has held since 2021. Marshall played professionally as a wide receiver in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Calgary Stampeders, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was signed by the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent in 2007. Marshall played college football for Houston.

George Barlow is an American football coach who is currently the cornerbacks coach at the University of South Florida. He was the interim head coach for the University of New Mexico Lobos. He was elevated from defensive coordinator to interim head coach following the firing of Mike Locksley on September 25, 2011. He coached the Lobos for their final eight games in 2011. He has also coached at Vanderbilt, NC State, and Oklahoma.

He is the current cornerbacks coach for the Wisconsin Badgers football team and the former head football coach at Kent State University, a position he held for five seasons. Haynes previously served as an assistant coach at the high school, collegiate and professional levels for 20 years, including stints as defensive coordinator at Ohio State University and the University of Arkansas. Prior to his coaching career, he was a four-year letterman as a defensive back at Kent State between 1987 and 1991.

Charles Kelly is an American football coach and former football player. He is currently the co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach for Auburn Tigers football. Kelly won a national championship as a member of the Florida State Seminoles coaching staff during the 2013 college football season. He also won a College Football Playoff National Championship as the co-defensive coordinator of the 2020 Alabama Crimson Tide who went undefeated.
