The Meroitic language was spoken in Meroë during the Meroitic period and became extinct about 400 AD. It was written in two forms of the Meroitic alphabet: Meroitic Cursive, which was written with a stylus and was used for general record-keeping; and Meroitic Hieroglyphic, which was carved in stone or used for royal or religious documents. It is poorly understood, owing to the scarcity of bilingual texts.

Hellraiser: Hellseeker is a 2002 supernatural horror film directed by Rick Bota and written by Carl V. Dupré and Tim Day. The sixth film in the Hellraiser series, it features the return of Kirsty Cotton, the heroine from Hellraiser and its sequel.

Kirsty Anna MacColl was an English singer and songwriter, daughter of folk singer Ewan MacColl. She recorded several pop hits in the 1980s and 1990s, including "There's a Guy Works Down the Chip Shop Swears He's Elvis" and cover versions of Billy Bragg's "A New England" and the Kinks' "Days". Her first single, "They Don't Know", had chart success a few years later when covered by Tracey Ullman. MacColl also sang on a number of recordings produced by her then-husband Steve Lillywhite, most notably "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues. Her death in 2000 led to the "Justice for Kirsty" campaign.

Kirsty's Home Videos is a comedy programme on Sky 1 hosted by Kirsty Gallacher, similar to ITV's You've Been Framed!. It was broadcast between April 2000 and September 2005, running for six series during its time.

The murder of Kirsty Jones, a British national on holiday in Thailand, took place in 2000. Jones was found raped and strangled on 10 August in her hotel room in Chiang Mai. The case, which received widespread national and overseas press coverage, went unsolved and was officially closed on the day of the 20th anniversary of the murder when the statute of limitations expired in 2020. According to Thai law twenty years is the expiring time for the statute of limitations. Jones' killer has not been identified and no one has been charged with her murder.

Kirsty Island is an island in Ryder Bay, west of Lagoon Island and East of Léonie Island. It has outcrops of reddish rocks and is used by scientists at Rothera Research Station as a site for marine research and recreation. It is named for Kirsty Brown, a marine biologist with the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) who died whilst snorkelling at Rothera Station in July 2003.

Kirsty Clements is a fictional character from the BBC medical drama Casualty, played by Lucy Gaskell. She first appeared in the twenty-fourth series episode "Russian Endings", broadcast on 15 May 2010. Kirsty is a staff nurse in Holby City Hospital's emergency department (ED). Gaskell was invited to audition by show producers and was successful. She shadowed ED nurses at a local hospital as preparation for the role. Kirsty is characterised as a strong, independent and feisty nurse, who does the best for her patients. She develops close friendships with her colleagues, notably Adam Trueman, although Kirsty's brash personality also makes her clash with others.

Kirsty McGuinness is a Northern Irish women's association football player and GAA player. She plays football for Cliftonville Ladies and the Northern Ireland women's national football team. She plays Gaelic games for Antrim GAA.
