The Seoul Station City Airport Terminal (SCAT [1] ) at Seoul Station, Seoul, is one of South Korea's Airport terminals. It is part of the AREX Line.

The Seoul Station City Airport Terminal is a public transportation facility in which travellers on certain flights can check in their luggage at the Seoul Station before leaving for the airport as well as going through immigration for expedited entry once at the airport. As of February, 2015, the Seoul Station City Airport Terminal only supports flights for Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Jeju Air and certain other airlines that codeshare with Asiana Airlines.

Asiana Airlines Inc. is South Korea's second-largest major airline, behind Korean Air. Asiana has its headquarters in Asiana Town building in Seoul. In 2018, it accounted for a 19% share of the domestic market and a 16% share of the international market. The airline has its domestic hub at Gimpo International Airport and its international hub at Incheon International Airport.

Korean Air Lines Co., Ltd., operating as Korean Air, is the largest airline and flag carrier of South Korea based on fleet size, international destinations and international flights. The airline's global headquarters are located in Seoul, South Korea. Korean Air was founded as Korean National Airlines in 1946. After several years of service and expansion, the airline was fully privatized in 1969.

Jeju Air Co., Ltd., is the first and largest South Korean low-cost airline. It offers scheduled domestic services between several cities in South Korea, as well as between Seoul and international destinations including Japan, China, Russia, the Mariana Islands, and various Southeast Asian countries. It is also a founding member of the Value Alliance. Jeju Air is named after the Jeju Island. The airline, a member of AK group, has opened a Seoul head office tower hotel at Hongik station of the Seoul Metro, to diversify income.

Asiana Airlines Flight 733 was a domestic Asiana Airlines passenger flight from Seoul-Gimpo International Airport to Mokpo Airport (MPK), South Korea. The Boeing 737 crashed on July 26, 1993 in the Hwawon area of Haenam County, South Jeolla Province. The cause of the accident was determined to be pilot error leading to controlled flight into terrain. 68 of the 116 passengers and crew on board were killed.

Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station train station in South Korea

Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station is a railway station on AREX and Incheon Airport Maglev. It is in Incheon International Airport's transport center and currently the terminus. Since June 2014, KTX operated from this station with stops at Geomam Station and Seoul Station towards Busan and Gwangju. Before the KTX opened services at this station, there was high-leveled platform which had no use. Since this time, only this platform didn't have platform screen doors because there was a plan for a 2nd airport railroad to go there, but this plan changed to KTX. After that, KTX started to run, they have changed the empty platform to a low leveled-platform to make KTX rideable. In the same year, KTX expanded service to Incheon Airport. Since 2018 KTX service to Incheon Airport has been suspended despite signage in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 saying otherwise. The suspension became permanent in September 2018 as the line was officially abolished. Travelling to cities other than Seoul via rail is now only available after a transfer at Seoul Station via the AREX.

Asiana Airlines Flight 162 was a regular short-haul international passenger flight from Incheon International Airport near Seoul, South Korea, to Hiroshima Airport in Hiroshima, Japan. On 14 April 2015, the Airbus A320-232 aircraft touched down short of the runway, struck the localizer array, skidded onto the runway on its tail, and spun 120 degrees before finally coming to a rest on the grass, opposite the terminal building. The aircraft suffered substantial damage to the left wing and engine. Of the 82 people aboard, 27 were injured, one seriously.

Air Seoul is a South Korean low-cost carrier and a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines. The airline is based at Incheon International Airport in Seoul, from which it operates flights to international destinations. It launched operations on 11 July 2016.
