Keith Alan Cosens was a Canadian politician in Manitoba. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1977 to 1981, and served as a cabinet minister in the government of Sterling Lyon.

Canora is a town, located at the junction of highways No. 5 and 9 in east central Saskatchewan, about 50 km north of Yorkton. It is centrally located on the corners of four adjacent rural municipalities, including the RM of Good Lake. The community is home to approximately 3,500 residents and is part of the Canora-Pelly electoral district. The community was founded along the Canadian Northern Railway tracks - one of the companies that evolved into the Canadian National Railway (CN), and two CN freight lines still run through Canora. The Canora railway station, downtown on the CN east-west line before the switch to the northbound line, is served by Via Rail on its passenger service from Winnipeg to Churchill, Manitoba. As of 2016, 53% of the town’s residents are either from Ukraine or of Ukrainian descent, with the language still widely spoken in the community.
Whiteshell Provincial Park is a provincial park in southeast Manitoba, approximately 120 kilometres (75 mi) east of the city of Winnipeg. The park is considered to be a Class II protected area under the IUCN protected area management categories. It is 275,210 hectares in size.

The Costume Museum of Canada is an institution dedicated to the history of Canadian fashion and clothing. The collection is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The museum gallery space was closed to the public in 2010 but the Costume Museum of Canada continues to offer programs such as: pop-up exhibits, heritage fashion revues, hat shows and other educational programs. The Costume Museum collection holds more than 35,000 textile artifacts reflecting clothing worn over a 400-year period. It was the first textile Museum in Canada
The Winnipeg Railway Museum was a railway museum located on tracks 1 and 2 within the Via Rail-operated Union Station in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Volunteers from the Midwestern Rail Association Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 1975, operated the museum.

The Brant-Argyle School is an educational facility located in the village of Argyle, Manitoba, Canada. It was built in 1914 to consolidate the one-room schools in the Brant (1914), McLeod School (1914), Bruce (1914), Argyle (1963), Grassmere, Meridian (1959) and Centre School Districts.
McLeod School was built in 1882 on N 27-14-1W and named after Dugald McLeod, councillor of Ward 6 and one of the earliest residents to the area. The school was built by James F. McCulloch, and early teachers were James McLeod, Violet (Patterson) Ballantyne, Miss Hornabrook, J.J. Campbell, A.M. Campbell, Alex Todd, E.R. Mills, Fred Baragar and Grace Patterson.
The Bruce School was built in the east part of the Brant district and named after Joseph Bruce, the first local settlers. It was organized in 1884 and built soon after on SW 1/4 3-14-1E. This was located 2 miles east and 3 miles north of the present Argyle Village.
