Shanghai Century Publishing(Group) Co., Ltd (Chinese :上海世纪出版(集团)有限公司) is a publishing company based in Shanghai, China.

Truth & Wisdom Press is an educational publisher based in Shanghai, China. It is an imprint of Shanghai Century Publishing Group, which is also the parent company of Shanghai People's Publishing House, Shanghai Translation Publishing House, etc.

Xianbei state nomadic empire

The Xianbei state or Xianbei confederation was a nomadic empire which existed in modern-day Mongolia, Inner Mongolia, northern Xinjiang, Northeast China, Gansu, Buryatia, Zabaykalsky Krai, Irkutsk Oblast, Tuva, Altai Republic and eastern Kazakhstan from 156-234. Startling by Each Step, also known as Bubu Jingxin, was Tong Hua's debut novel. Originally published online in 2005 on Jinjiang Original Network (晉江原創網), it was later published by Ocean Press (海洋出版社), National Press (民族出版社), Huashan Arts Press (花山文藝出版社), Hunan Literature and Art Publishing House (湖南文藝出版社), and Yeren Culture Publishing (野人文化出版社). Tong Hua revised the novel in 2009 and 2011. The latest edition contained an additional 30,000 word epilogue.

The Cihai is a large-scale dictionary and encyclopedia of Standard Mandarin Chinese. The Chen Bochui Children’s Literature Award (陈伯吹儿童文学奖) is a major award issued in China, with the aim of promoting excellence in children’s publishing and cultural diversity. It was originally called the Children’s Literary Garden Prize (儿童文学园丁奖), then the Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award from 1988. The first awards were given in 1981, and were awarded every two years. It was renamed as the Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award (陈伯吹国际儿童文学奖), and since 2014 has been held annually. It is named after the author, translator, journalist and educator Chen Bochui (1906-1997), who translated Pushkin’s Children’s Tales, The Wizard of Oz, and Don Quixote into Chinese for the first time in the 1940s, and who donated his life savings to establish this award. It is the longest continuously running literary prize in China.

Jidi Majia Chinese writer and politician of Yi ethnicity

Jidi Majia is Chinese poet and a lieutenant governor of Qinghai province from 2006 to 2010. He was born in 1961 and belongs to an ethnic minority of China, the Yi. He has published numerous poetic anthologies since the 1980s and has won national literature awards, is also considered one of the greatest poets of minorities in China. He is the President of the China Minority Literary Association and Permanent Vice-President of the China Poets' Association.

Peng Xinwei 彭信威 (1907–1967) was a Chinese economic historian, and author of A Monetary History of China.
