Sophos develops products for communication endpoint, encryption, network security, email security, mobile security and unified threat management. O RLY? is an Internet phenomenon, typically presented as an image macro featuring a snowy owl. Georgia planned to participate in 2009, but decided to withdraw after the European Broadcasting Union demanded it re-write its song which made reference to the Russian prime minister, Vladimir Putin. Georgia has reached the final on seven occasions, achieving two top ten placements, with Sofia Nizharadze (2010) and Eldrine (2011) both finishing ninth.

Backdoor.Win32.IRCBot is a backdoor computer worm that is spread through MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger. Once installed on a PC, the worm copies itself into a Windows system folder, creates a new file displayed as "Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Notification" and becomes part of the computer's automatic startup. In addition, it attempts to send itself to all MSN contacts by offering an attachment named 'photos.zip'. Executing this file will install the worm onto the local PC. The Win32.IRCBot worm provides a backdoor server and allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via an Internet Relay Chat channel. This allows for confidential information to be transmitted to a hacker.

Sandboxie Open-source sandboxing computer program

Sandboxie is an open-source sandboxing program for Microsoft Windows. Sandboxie creates an isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying the local system. This virtual environment allows for controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing. After various ownership transitions, Sophos eventually stated they would no longer be involved in the development of Sandboxie and that the open-source community would have to continue development instead.

Georgia competed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, returning after a year's absence. Georgian broadcaster GPB internally selected Sopho Nizharadze to sing for Georgia at the Contest in May 2010. Nizharadze performed six songs on 27 February. "Shine" was chosen to be sung at the contest in Oslo, Norway, after the votes of a public televote and a professional jury. The song was written by Hanne Sørvaag, Harry Sommerdahl and Christian Leuzzi, and was Sørvaag's third Eurovision composition.
