The Third Epistle of John is the third-to-last book of the New Testament and the Christian Bible as a whole, and attributed to John the Evangelist, traditionally thought to be the author of the Gospel of John and the other two epistles of John. The Third Epistle of John is a personal letter sent by "the elder" to a man named Gaius, recommending to him a group of Christians led by Demetrius, which had come to preach the gospel in the area where Gaius lived. The purpose of the letter is to encourage and strengthen Gaius, and to warn him against Diotrephes, who refuses to cooperate with the author of the letter.

The Cusco School or Cuzco School, was a Roman Catholic artistic tradition based in Cusco, Peru during the Colonial period, in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. It was not limited to Cusco only, but spread to other cities in the Andes, as well as to present day Ecuador and Bolivia.
The Heptanese School of painting succeeded the Cretan School as the leading school of Greek post-Byzantine painting after Crete fell to the Ottomans in 1669. Like the Cretan school it combined Byzantine traditions with an increasing Western European artistic influence, and also saw the first significant depiction of secular subjects. The school was based in the Ionian Islands, which were not part of Ottoman Greece, from the middle of the 17th century until the middle of the 19th century.

William Hunt Painter was an English botanist who made a significant contribution to the science of Derbyshire vascular plant flora. He was a keen and wide-ranging collector of plant specimens, and was a member of the Botanical Exchange Club. In 1889 he published the first in a series of four books, all by different authors and spanning 120 years, all called The Flora of Derbyshire.

Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, commonly known as the Orthodox Church, is an Eastern Orthodox church building located in Trubar Park, between Bleiweis Street and Prešeren Street, north of the Museum of Modern Art and west of the National Gallery of Slovenia. It belongs to the Metropolitanate of Zagreb and Ljubljana of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The Church of St. Nicholas in Šid is Serbian Orthodox church in Vojvodina, Serbia. The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas. It is the primary centrally located Eastern Orthodox church in the town and a protected cultural monument. The building was constructed in the second half of the 18th century and completed in 1780. At the time modern day Vojvodina was a part of the Habsburg Monarchy in which Šid was located close to the Ottoman Serbia. At the time of the construction of the Eastern Orthodox church in Šid, Habsburg Monarchy implemented numerous legal reforms such as Declaratory Rescript of the Illyrian Nation and Patent of Toleration which improved legal standing of the Eastern Orthodox subjects.
