The Tonga women's national rugby sevens team represents Tonga in rugby sevens.
Tonga has played at the 2010 and 2011 Asia-Pacific Championship, the Oceania Women's Sevens Championship since 2012, and the 2015 Pacific Games. [1]
They won the Bowl final at the 2011 Borneo Women’s Sevens competition which included teams from Asia and the Oceanic region. [2] [3]
At the 2023 Oceania Women's Sevens Championship in Brisbane, they finished in sixth place with two wins and three losses. [4] [5] They also competed at the Pacific Games in Honiara where they had a surprise defeat to newcomers, Wallis and Futuna, in their bronze medal playoff. [6] [7]

Oceania Rugby, previously known as the Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions (FORU), is the regional governing body for rugby union in Oceania. It was founded in 2000 to represent the interests of Oceania rugby within World Rugby, the international governing body. It presently encompasses fourteen full members and two associate members.

Prior to 1999, 15-a-side matches were played between the 1963–1995 games.
The Nauru national rugby sevens team made its international debut at the 2015 Pacific Games in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
The men's rugby sevens tournament at the 2019 Pacific Games was held in Samoa from 12 to 13 July 2019. It was hosted at the St Joseph's Sports Field in Lotopa. Fiji won the gold medal with a 7–5 victory over Samoa in the final.
