The United Transport Administration (Georgian :ერთიანი სატრანსპორტო ადმინისტრაცია) was the transport agency of Georgia from 2005 to 2011, which united the management of road transport, civil aviation and maritime transport in the country. The agency was subordinated first to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and then to the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure. The agency had its head office in Tbilisi. [1]

Tbilisi, in some countries also still known by its pre-1936 international designation Tiflis, is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of approximately 1.5 million people. Founded in the 5th century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, since then Tbilisi served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Between 1801 and 1917, then part of the Russian Empire, Tbilisi was the seat of the Imperial Viceroy, governing both Southern and Northern Caucasus.

In February 2011, the United Transport Administration was split into the agencies for Road Transport, Civil Aviation and Maritime Transport, each of which is a separate legal entity under the overall supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. [2]

The Accident Investigation Board Norway is a government agency which is responsible for investigating transport-related accidents within Norway. Specifically, it investigates aviation accidents and incidents, rail accidents, maritime accidents and select traffic accidents. All investigations aim to find underlying causes and to improve safety; criminal investigation is not part of AIBN's mandate. Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics

The Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics is a government agency of the Colombian Ministry of Transport. It is the agency in charge of regulating civil aviation, the aviation industry, and of managing the Colombian airspace. Aerocivil is also in charge of managing and controlling all of Colombia's public airports. It is headquartered in the new Aerocivil building on the property of El Dorado International Airport. Previously it was located on the fourth floor of the main terminal building of the airport.

United Airports of Georgia LLC is a state owned company in Georgia established in 2011, functioning under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. It is the owner on behalf of the Georgian government of the country's civil airports, of which it operates three. The civil airports comprise Tbilisi International Airport and Batumi International Airport, which are both operated by TAV Georgia, and those operated by UAG itself, which are Kutaisi International Airport and two domestic airports, namely, Mestia Airport, also known as Queen Tamar Airport, and Ambrolauri Airport.
