Lott Cary was an African-American Baptist minister and lay physician who was a missionary leader in the founding of the colony of Liberia on the west coast of Africa in the 1820s. He founded the first Baptist church there in 1822, now known as Providence Baptist Church of Monrovia. He served as the colony's acting governor from August 1828 to his death in November of that year.

Little Cedar Grove Baptist Church was organized in 1797 by some of the early Primitive Baptist settlers of Franklin County, Indiana. The historic church building, constructed in 1812, is the oldest church in the state of Indiana still standing on its original foundation.
The Savannah Historic District is a large urban U.S. historic district that roughly corresponds to the pre-civil war city limits of Savannah, Georgia. The area was declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1966, and is one of the largest urban, community-wide historic preservation districts in the United States. Hannah's Creek Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Primitive Baptist church located at Benson, Johnston County, North Carolina. It was built about 1834 or about 1866, and is a vernacular one-story rectangular, timber-frame building, five bays wide and three bays deep. It rests on a brick pier foundation and has a gable roof. The building measures 36 feet wide and 48 feet long. The church was moved to its present location in the 1930s. Also on the property is a contributing church cemetery with burials dating from the late-19th century to 1940.
Jamesville Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery, also known as Jamesville Women's Club, is a historic Primitive Baptist church and cemetery located on the east side of NC 171 in Jamesville, Martin County, North Carolina. It was built between 1865 and 1870, and is a rectangular one-story frame building with gable-front roof. It is two-bays wide and three bays deep and is sheathed with plain weatherboards. The Jamesville Women's Club acquired the building and its lot in 1953.
Smithwick's Creek Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Primitive Baptist church located near Farm Life, Martin County, North Carolina. It was built about 1897, and is a front-gable, unadorned frame building. The building measures 44 feet, 4 inches, wide and 60 feet, 4 inches deep. Also on the property is the former Smithwick's Creek Baptismal House, built in 1892 and moved to site November 2003.
Red Banks Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Primitive Baptist church located between Meeting House Branch and E. Firetower Road in Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. The original church building was set on fire on December 30, 1863, by Union forces under the command of Col. Joseph M. McChesney. It was rebuilt in 1893 and is a one-story, frame, gable front, rectangular, building measuring approximately 50 feet by 30 feet. It is two bays wide and five bays deep and sits on a brick pier foundation. Located on the property is the contributing church cemetery with less than 20 markers.
Horn Creek Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church in Edgefield, South Carolina. The congregation was founded in 1768 and the current building was constructed in 1790 and remains one of the oldest buildings in the county. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

Lott Cemetery is a cemetery in Waycross, Georgia that was established in 1877. It occupies the block bounded by Butler, Tebeau, Quarterman, and Pendleton streets. There were no areas designated for religious or ethnic groups. African-American graves are along the western edge. Several veterans of the Confederate States Army are also buried there. It was the main cemetery in the city until the Oakland Cemetery was created in 1901 and the Aftican-American Pine Hill Cemetery in 1907. There is a wide variety of funerary art in the cemetery.
