Loughborough Inlet is one of the lesser principal inlets of the British Columbia Coast. It penetrates the Coast Mountains on the north side of the Discovery Islands archipelago, running about 35 km (22 mi) from its head at the mouth of the Stafford River to Chancellor Channel and Cordero Channel, which are on the north side of West Thurlow Island. A further 14 km (8.7 mi) west along Chancellor Channel is Johnstone Strait.

The Siamese-Vietnamese War of 1831–1834, also known as the Siamese-Cambodian War of 1831–1834, was sparked by a Siamese invasion force under General Bodindecha that was attempting to conquer Cambodia and southern Vietnam. After initial success and the defeat of the Khmer Army at the Battle of Kompong Cham in 1832, the Siamese advance was repelled in southern Vietnam in 1833 by the military forces of the Nguyễn monarchy. Upon the outbreak of a general uprising in Cambodia and Laos, the Siamese withdrew, and Vietnam was left in control of Cambodia.

Nam Nao National Park is a protected area in Phetchabun Province in northern Thailand. The park is a large forest filled with pineries, grasslands, and jungle. The park is home to approximately 360 species of birds and 340 species of butterflies. The average annual temperature is 25 degrees Celsius (77°F). Between December and January temperatures drop to as low as 2-5 degrees Celsius (36-41°F). Nam Nao National Park is part of a Level I "tiger conservation unit" (TCU). It encompasses 1,000 square kilometres (390 sq mi).
The Cao Lãnh Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Tiền River, a branch of the Mekong River at Cao Lãnh in Vietnam. The bridge is one of three components of the planned Central Mekong Delta Connectivity Project (CMDCP). The other two components are the Vàm Cống Bridge at Vàm Cống and the 4 lane expressway connecting the two bridges. The Cao Lanh Bridge was inaugurated on 27 May 2018.
