The World's Largest Rubber Duck, sometimes called Mama Duck, is a 60-foot-tall, [1] 15.5-ton inflatable rubber duck. [2]

The rubber duck, better known as the #Kindness Duck, is part of a larger Kindness Duck Project. Founded by Mark Burrows, the projects aims to simply spread kindness. [3] When the Kindness Duck visits a city, numerous things come along with it, including Food Truck Row, Vendor Alley, Charity Lane, Drink Stations, Tarrant Health Vaccine Clinic, an open playground area, commercial vendors, a Kids zone, and a Nanda Yoga/training area. It was recently bought by a reserved individual who is willing to sell it for auction. Bid starts at $1 million. [4] [5]

Rubber Duck is a series of several giant floating sculptures of yellow rubber ducks, designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, which have appeared in many cities around the world. Each Rubber Duck is recreated anew locally, as his public art is intended to be temporary.

Dallas–Fort Worth is the most populous metropolitan area of Texas, and the Southern United States. Having 7,637,387 residents at the 2020 U.S. census, the metropolitan statistical area has experienced positive growth trends since the former Dallas and Fort Worth metropolitan areas conurbated into the Metroplex. By the 2022 census estimates, its population grew to 7,943,685.

Throughout Dallas–Fort Worth, there is a large lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. Since 2005, DFW has constituted one of the largest LGBT communities in Texas.
