International Film Festival Rotterdam

International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) is an annual film festival held in various cinemas in Rotterdam, Netherlands at the end of January. Since its founding in 1972, it has become one of the most important events in the film world, maintaining its focus on independent and experimental filmmaking by emerging talents and established auteurs. The festival also has a unique focus on presenting cutting edge media art and artist's film, with most of the participants in the short film program identified as artists or experimental filmmakers. IFFR also hosts CineMart, for film producers to seek funding.

Yeşilçam is the sobriquet that refers to the Turkish film art and industry. 3rd Yeşilçam Awards

The 3rd Yeşilçam Awards, presented by the Turkish Foundation of Cinema and Audiovisual Culture (TÜRSAK) and Beyoğlu Municipality, honored the best Turkish films of 2009 and took place on March 23, 2010, at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Hall in Istanbul, Turkey. Veteran Turkish actress Filiz Akın received the Special Achievement Award.

Pazukî is a Kurdish tribe whose members live in different regions in Kurdistan as well as in and around Tehran, Iran. The tribe is mentioned in the 16th century Kurdish historical book Sharafnama by Sharaf Khan Bidlisi. Turkmen Mountain

Turkmen Mountain is a mountain range in the north of Latakia region of Syria, in the area called Bayırbucak locally in Turkish, neighboring the Turkish border. The mountain range runs along the eastern length of Latakia Governorate. The area is mostly inhabited by Syrian Turkmen people and has seen military activity by the Syrian Army and Russian air strikes in late 2015. Close to 300,000 Turkmens have been displaced since the start of the Syrian civil war, especially in The Turkmens mountains, where the Government enacted a demographic change by forcing the last remaining Turkmen Families to leave to Turkey, and settled Alawite families in the areas controlled by government forces.
