INSEAD is a non-profit business school that maintains campuses in Europe,Asia (Singapore),the Middle East,and North America. Lee Kong Chian,also known as Li Guangqian or by his alias Lee Geok Kun,was a prominent Chinese businessman and philanthropist active in Malaya and Singapore from the 1930s to the 1960s. He was the founder of the Lee Foundation and one of the richest men in Southeast Asia in the 1950s and 1960s. He was also the son-in-law of Tan Kah Kee,another well-known Chinese businessman and philanthropist based in Southeast Asia.

He served as a mediator of labour disputes in the US while at Cornell,and in Australia has undertaken extensive academic and policy work in conflict resolution,theory and practice,particularly enterprise bargaining. John Niland is a Professor Emeritus of UNSW and was its fourth Vice Chancellor and President (1992-2002). Before that he was the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Economics. While UNSW Vice-Chancellor,he was a founding director of both Universitas 21 and Australia’s Group of Eight Universities. He also served a term as President of the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee,and was a member of the Prime Minister's Science,Engineering and Innovation Council.

Gerard "Gerry" George is currently Professor at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Previously,he was Dean and Lee Kong Chian Chair Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University. Before his deanship at Singapore Management University,George was Deputy Dean and founding director of Gandhi Centre for Inclusive Innovation at Imperial College London. The Yong Pung How School of Law is one of the six schools of Singapore Management University. It was set up as Singapore's second law school in 2007,50 years after the NUS Faculty of Law and 10 years before SUSS School of Law. Before becoming a law school,the school was a Law Department within the School of Business between 2000 and 2007. Up until 2021,the school was known as the SMU School of Law;in 2021,it was renamed after former Chief Justice Yong Pung How.
Gordon Redding,MA (Cambridge,PhD,D.Econ h.c.,is a British professor,academic,author,editor,and consultant. He is today a specialist on China and the regional ethnic Chinese,and also works on the comparison of different systems of capitalism,and on the role of education in societal development.His core interest is in the role of culture in the shaping of societal progress. He has published 15 books and 150 articles related to these subjects. He has held a number of professorships,and is currently working as a Senior Fellow of the HEAD Foundation,based in Singapore. This is a non-profit foundation which he was invited by regional philanthropists to establish in 2010,and initially directed to 2014. He also spent 24 years at the University of Hong Kong,where he founded and directed the HKU Business School. For seven years from 1997 he was Director of the Euro-Asia Centre at INSEAD in France. He was also for ten years a Director of the Wharton International Forum,working globally in executive education. Now living in London he held - from 2013 to 2015 - a Visiting Professorial Fellowship at the Institute of Education,UCL.
Christoph Loch is the Director (Dean) of Cambridge Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. He also held a fellowship at Pembroke College. He was announced he would step down in the Summer of 2021 after two mandates. Professor Loch took office on 1 September 2011,having previously held the position of GlaxoSmithKline Chaired Professor of Corporate Innovation and Professor of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD,where he also served as Dean of the INSEAD PhD programme from 2006-2009. He is associate editor of the Journal of Management Science,and he serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Engineering and Technology Management and the Journal of Research Technology Management.

She is the first woman and the first Singaporean academic to helm a Singaporean university. Before joining SMU,she was a faculty member at the Department of Geography of the National University of Singapore (NUS) and had held various senior managerial positions at NUS.
