Diana Nankunda Mutasingwa also referred to as Diana Mutasingwa Kagyenyi is a Uganda politician. She is the current Cabinet Minister of State in the Office of the Vice President of Uganda. [8] On May 19, 2021, Mutasingwa Diana Nankunda Kagyenyi was sworn in as the Buikwe District Woman Member of Parliament under the National Resistance Movement political party. Background and education

She is a resident of Bukaya in Njeru division and born to Charles Mutasingwa. [8] When Diana was bed ridden in Nairobi, Charles Mutasingwa explored the villages, held rallies and door-to-door meeting on behalf of her daughter Diana Kagyenyi Mutasingwa, who was reported to have been poisoned during her campaigns in parts of Nyenga Division in 2018. [10] She completed her primary school from Kampala Parent's School. [2] [4] [8] [11] She later joined Greenhill Academy for both Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE). [8] She was awarded a diploma and a degree from Hertfordshire International College. [8]

Life before politics

She was employed as the Human Resource Manager at Afro Freight Clearing and Forwarding Company before joining politics. [8]

Political career

Before contesting as Buikwe's Woman Member of Parliament, she first contested for Njeru Municipality mayor in 2019, but was defeated by Yasin Kyazze. [8] Buikwe district had never had a minister until when President Museveni appointed Diana as the State Minister in the Office of the Vice President. [8] Nankunda is working with Jessica Alupo, the Vice President of Uganda who replaced Edward Ssekandi. [2] She was appointed as the Buikwe District Football Associations brand ambassador in Uganda and she became the official sponsor for the District Football Associations for the next five year staring in 2021. She previously served in the cabinet of Uganda as minister of education between 2011 and 2016. She is also an elected member of parliament as Katakwi District's women's representative.

Amelia Anne Kyambadde is a Ugandan politician, philanthropist and Women activist. She is the Senior Presidential Advisor on Industry to the President of Uganda. Esther Mbulakubuza Mbayo, is a Ugandan politician. She is the Minister of the Presidency in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016, replacing Frank Tumwebaze, who was appointed Ministry of Information Information Technology and Communication. She also serves in the Parliament of Uganda, as the Luuka District Women's Representative.

Misi Kabanda sometimes known as Hajjat Misi Kabanda is the current cabinet and minister for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs. She was one of the ministers who finalized plans for the company to assemble and manufacture buses to ease transport needs in the greater Kampala Metropolitan Area (GKMA) through Kampala Capital City Authority and the METU bus industries. However, President Museveni rejected Loans for Importation of Buses.
