The Imbert Prize was instituted in 2005, and is awarded annually by the Association of Security Consultants (ASC) for the development of ideas for the advancement of risk and security management in the UK. [1]

The prize is named after Lord Imbert, a patron of the ASC, who was Commissioner of Scotland Yard 1987–1993, and was a prominent figure in debates about security and policing.

Cranfield University is a British postgraduate-only public research university specialising in science, engineering, design, technology and management. Cranfield was founded as the College of Aeronautics (CoA) in 1946. Through the 1950s and 1960s, the development of aircraft research led to growth and diversification into other areas such as manufacturing and management, and in 1967, to the founding of the Cranfield School of Management. In 1969, the College of Aeronautics was renamed the Cranfield Institute of Technology, was incorporated by royal charter, gained degree awarding powers, and became a university. In 1993, it adopted its current name.
Peter Michael Imbert, Baron Imbert, was Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service from 1987 to 1993, and prior to that appointment Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police from 1979 to 1985.
Big Mama (Korean: 빅마마) is a South Korean female vocal group that debuted in 2003. The group is known for focusing on its members' singing abilities rather than their looks. The group disbanded in 2012 after their last song "Cleaning My Closet". On June 10, 2021, it was announced Big Mama would be reuniting to release new music.

Claudio Miranda, ASC is a Chilean cinematographer. He is best known for his work on Ang Lee's film Life of Pi, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography, and for David Fincher's film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which was the first film shot entirely digitally to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography and the American Society of Cinematographers Award. He is also known for his collaborations with American director Joseph Kosinski. He is the second Chilean person to win an Academy Award.

Erik Messerschmidt, ASC is an American cinematographer. He is best known for his collaborations with director David Fincher on the films Mank and Gone Girl, and on the Netflix series Mindhunter. He has also shot episodes of the TV series Fargo, Legion, and Raised by Wolves. His work has been nominated for an Emmy. In April 2021, he won the top ASC Award and the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for Mank.
