The 2023 24 Hours of Spa (also known as the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa) was the 75th running of the 24 Hours of Spa. The race took place from June 29 to July 2, 2023. The race was a part of both the 2023 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the 2023 Intercontinental GT Challenge.
Supporting the race weekend were the McLaren Trophy Europe, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Formula Regional European Championship, GT4 European Series and GT1 Sports Club. [1]
In the hours prior to race start on Saturday morning, Dilano van't Hoff was killed in a Formula Regional support race. [2]
A 70-car field contested the race — 20 in Pro class, 7 in Gold Cup, 10 in Silver Cup, 21 in Bronze Cup and 12 in Pro-Am Cup. 8 manufacturers were represented, with 15 Mercedes cars, 14 Porsche cars, 13 Audi cars, 10 Lamborghini cars, 7 BMW cars, 5 Ferrari cars (4 Ferrari 296 GT3 and 1 Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020), 5 McLaren cars and 1 Aston Martin car. Compared to the previous edition of the race, Porsche and Ferrari introduced brand-new models, while Lamborghini and McLaren provided the teams with updated kits. [3]

Raffaele "Lello" Marciello is a Swiss-born Italian professional racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for BMW M Team WRT. A former member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, he was the 2013 European Formula Three Champion, a reserve and test driver for the Sauber Formula One team in 2015, and spent three seasons competing in the GP2 Series. He switched to GT racing in 2017 and became a works Mercedes-AMG driver ahead of the 2018 campaign, where he stayed until leaving in 2023 and subsequently signing with BMW. In 2022, Marciello earned his first major endurance race victory by winning the Spa 24 Hours.
Group GT3, known technically as Cup Grand Touring Cars and commonly referred to as simply GT3, is a set of regulations maintained by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for grand tourer racing cars designed for use in various auto racing series throughout the world. The GT3 category was initially created in 2005 by the SRO Group as a third rung in the ladder of grand touring motorsport, below the Group GT1 and Group GT2 categories which were utilized in the SRO's FIA GT Championship, and launched its own series in 2006 called the FIA GT3 European Championship. Since then, Group GT3 has expanded to become the de facto category for many national and international grand touring series, although some series modify the ruleset from the FIA standard. By 2013, nearly 20 automobile manufacturers have built or been represented with GT3 machines.
