Amber Asylum is a highly variable San Francisco-based music group that serves as a platform for composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Kris Force. [2] The current lineup of Amber Asylum includes, in addition to Kris Force, Fern Lee Alberts (Deathgrave), Sarah Rosalena Brady and Becky Hawk (Laudanum). Other members and performers have included Steve Von Till (Neurosis), Annabel Lee, Martha Burns, long-time collaborator Jackie Perez Gratz (Grayceon/Giant Squid/Asunder), Erica Stoltz (Lost Goat, Sanhedrin), Wendy Farina, Lorraine Rath (The Gault/Worm Ouroboros), Sarah Schaffer (The Gault/Weakling), John Cobbet (Hammers of Misfortune/Ludicra, Vhol), Eric Wood (Man Is The Bastard, Bastard Noise), Leila Abdul-Rauf (Saros, Vastum, Hammers of Misfortune, Bastard Noise, Ionophore), Chiyo Nukaga (Noothgrush/Graves At Sea), Andrew Veskoukis (Akphaezya) and Sigrid Sheie (Hammers of Misfortune, Vhol). Amber Asylum's music is generally within the neoclassical or dark ambient genres, and it tends towards the romantic, introspective, and brooding. Violin and cello are the dominant instruments.

Calculating Infinity is the debut studio album by American metalcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan. Recorded at Trax East Recording Studio in South River, New Jersey, it was produced by engineer Steve Evetts with the band's guitarist Ben Weinman and drummer Chris Pennie, and released on September 28, 1999 by Relapse Records. <i>Black Bastards</i> 2000 studio album by KMD

Black Bastards is the second and final studio album by KMD, completed in 1993 and eventually released in 2000 through ReadyRock Records. Initially, the album was scheduled for release in 1993, but Elektra Records canceled the album, reportedly due to the controversial cover art, which shows a Sambo figure being lynched. Zev Love X's brother DJ Subroc was killed when he was struck by a car shortly before the album was completed.

Yob is an American doom metal band from Eugene, Oregon, composed of singer/guitarist Mike Scheidt, bassist Aaron Rieseberg, and drummer Travis Foster. Their most recent album Our Raw Heart was released in June 2018.

Ludicra was a heavy metal band from San Francisco. They originally formed in 1998 as a quartet and later expanded to five members. On July 26, 2011, the band announced on their official website that they had disbanded.

Dysrhythmia is an American instrumental progressive metal band formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, in 1998. The band's music combines avant-garde elements of progressive rock and jazz with heavy metal. They are currently located in Brooklyn, New York.

Jason Heinrichs is a musical producer who works with many bands and artists. He plays piano, guitar, bass and drums in many of his productions. He released the now rare and classic Anomaly album entitled “Howle’s Book” on Groove Garden Records with a variety of collaborators who went on to be respected and prolific artists including Slug from Atmosphere, Eye Dea and DJ Abilities and various musicians. It’s been widely regarded as an underground classic and still resonates with a great many people. He attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA from 1989-1994, graduating near the top of his class and earning two Bachelor's Degrees in Film Scoring & Music Synthesis Production. While there, he was awarded the Peter Gabriel Production Scholarship by the Berklee faculty. Jason Heinrichs engineered & remixed a track on the Lucy Ford album put out by the hip hop group Atmosphere under the name Anomaly. He has produced and remixed many other Minneapolis locals with his studio Satori Sounds. He collaborated with Chicago vocalist Lady Sarah to form the duo called Roomsa. Roomsa has been featured on many compilations including Sneak, Gene Farris, and Miguel Migs. Their songs have been picked up by labels such as Farris Wheel, Salted Music ("Sunrise"), and Aphrodisio. Aphrodisio released their full length CD called "Oceans" on March 9, 2007. The songs on the album vary from Down tempo and House music. Jason Heinrichs is also a DJ spinning a variety of electronic music in Minneapolis and other cities. They were featured in an interview in Britain‘s DJ Magazine and in 2007 were picked as the Next 100 artists to watch in Los Angeles‘ URB magazine. In 2000, he played all the instruments, produced, engineered, arranged, recorded and mastered the also classic and out of print sought after album “In Definition“ with the rap duo Cenospecies, releasing it on his own label Peak Records. It introduced the world to P.O.S. from the successful group Doomtree and won an award from The City Pages in Minneapolis.

Colin Marston American musician and record producer

Colin Marston is an American multi-instrumentalist musician and record producer residing in New York City. He graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music technology in 2004, and runs Menegroth The Thousand Caves Recording Studios in Woodhaven, Queens while not on tour with one of a number of bands. He also known for his performances in acts such as Behold... The Arctopus, Dysrhythmia, Krallice, and the reunion lineup of Gorguts. Marston has produced, mastered, and mixed music for artists such as Imperial Triumphant, Genghis Tron, Kayo Dot, Jarboe, Capillary Action, Origin, Panopticon, Altar of Plagues, Liturgy, Pyrrhon, and Orthrelm, as well as for his own bands.

Hammers of Misfortune is an American heavy metal band from San Francisco, California. The band's style has varied from album to album, at times incorporating different elements of folk metal, doom metal, NWOBHM, black metal, 1970s rock, and thrash metal. It is the brainchild of guitarist John Cobbett, who serves as the band's producer and primary songwriter.

Fuck the Facts

Fuck the Facts is a Canadian Juno-nominated, Canadian grindcore band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, formed in 1998. They began in the late nineties as a solo recording project constructed by musician Topon Das. After many early recordings, including split tapes with groups from around the world, Fuck the Facts began developing a name in the underground with fans of grind. In 2001, the first full-length CD-R, Discoing the Dead, was recorded. The same year, Das would assemble a full band to continue with the project. The band has since coined the terms "bastardized grindcore" and "mullet-core" to describe their sound.

Profound Lore Records is a Canadian independent record label founded in May 2004, which "began as the 'hobby-like venture' of a few friends but, over the past six years, the label has evolved into a one-man enterprise, shaped a distinct 'aesthetic identity' and provided owner Chris Bruni with a full-time job."

Nothing (band)

Nothing is an American rock band that formed in 2010. It self-released several EPs before signing to Relapse Records, and released its debut studio album, Guilty of Everything, in March 2014. The follow-up album, Tired of Tomorrow, was released on May 13, 2016. Nothing's third studio album, Dance on the Blacktop, was released August 24, 2018 and their fourth studio album, The Great Dismal, was released October 30, 2020.

Full of Hell (band) American grindcore band

Full of Hell is an American grindcore band from Ocean City, Maryland and Central Pennsylvania, formed in 2009. They are currently signed to Relapse Records. They have released four studio albums – Roots of Earth Are Consuming My Home (2011), Rudiments of Mutilation (2013), Trumpeting Ecstasy (2017), and Weeping Choir (2019) – as well as three collaborations – Full of Hell & Merzbow (2014) with Japanese noise artist Merzbow and One Day You Will Ache Like I Ache (2016) and Ascending a Mountain of Heavy Light (2017) with sludge metal band The Body – aside from numerous EPs and splits.

Nick Bassett American musician, producer and composer

Nick Bassett is an American musician, producer and composer from Modesto, California. He was the bassist of shoegaze band Nothing and is the lead guitarist of shoegaze band Whirr. He also played guitar in the original lineup of blackgaze band Deafheaven.

Alex Poole is an American multi-instrumentalist musician from Nashville, Tennessee. Poole has prolifically contributed to the Black Metal genre having led or contributed to a number of black metal bands including Chaos Moon, Manetheren, Krieg, Skaphe, Martrod, and Gardsghastr. He has also played live with a number of bands to fill in for missing guitarists or bassists over the years.
