Politiken is a leading Danish daily broadsheet newspaper, published by JP/Politikens Hus in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1884 and played a role in the formation of the Danish Social Liberal Party. Since 1970 it has been independent of the party but maintains a liberal stance. It now runs an online newspaper, politiken.dk. The paper's design has won several international awards, and a number of its journalists have won the Cavling Prize.
Anker Henrik Jørgensen was a Danish politician who served at various times as Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Denmark. Between 1972 and 1982 he led five cabinets as Prime Minister. Jørgensen was President of the Nordic Council in 1986 and 1991.

Boldklubben Fremad Amager is a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. Kai Normann Andersen was a Danish composer who wrote film scores and music for stage revues and dramas. He composed songs for over 50 films between 1930 and 1965. In the 1930s and 1940s he dominated Danish film music. He has been called "[o]ne of the most appealing personalities of our time in the light music field". Twelve of his songs have been included in the Danish Culture Canon. Connie Hedegaard and Claus Hagen Petersen list him among the 100 most important Danes of the 20th century.

The 1964 Danish 1st Division was the 37th season of Denmark's top-flight association football division since the establishment of Danmarksturneringen's nation-wide league structure in 1927, and the 51st edition of the overall Danish national football championship since its inception in 1912. Governed by the Danish FA, the season was launched on 26 March 1964 with a clash between last season's third-placed B 1903 and Østerbro-based and local rivals B.93 with the last round of six matches concluding on 15 November 1964. Esbjerg fB were the defending league champions, having won their third consecutive league title last season, while BK Frem and B.93 entered as promoted teams from the 1963 Danish 2nd Division. Fixtures for the 1964 season were announced by the Danish FA's tournament committee on 6 January 1964, featuring a nine weeks long summer break.
The 2010 Danish Cup final was the final and deciding match of the 2009-10 Danish Cup tournament. It took place on Thursday 13 May 2010 at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. It was contested between first-time finalists FC Nordsjælland, and FC Midtjylland who had lost their two earlier finals. Nicolai Vollquartz refereed the match in front of a crowd of 18,856.
The Index Project, formerly INDEX: Design to Improve Life, is a Danish nonprofit organisation that promotes designs aimed at the improvement of life worldwide, both in developed and developing countries. The organisation is behind the biennial Index Award, the world's biggest design award.

De Gyldne Laurbær is a Danish literature award, which was established in 1949. The award is handed by The Committee De Gyldne Laurbær, formerly Boghandlerklubben. The prize is given annually in February or March. Originally the award was a laurel wreath, a golden pin with an inscription, some money and a book gift worth 2500 DKK. Today the award is a laurel wreathe, a diploma and a book gift worth 2500 DKK. The award is handed at a ceremony arranged by the publishing house which has published the winning book and by the Committee De Gyldne Laurbær. Early in January every year the committee sends out ballot to all the Danish bookshops, which then give their vote for a Danish book which was published the year before. An author can only win The Golden Laurel once-in-a-lifetime, so the bookshops can not vote for an author who has already won the prize once before. The winner is usually one of the bestsellers among the Danish books. On the day when it is decided who wins the Golden Laurel, the president of the Committee of The Golden Laurel informs the winner about the award, while journalists follow the event.
Morten Piil was a Danish writer and film critic. He received a Bodil Honorary Award in 2002 for his "long-standing contribution to Danish film literature".
Olga Sofia Ravn is a Danish poet and novelist. Her works have received international critical acclaim. She is also a translator and has worked as a literary critic for Politiken and several other Danish publications.

Hjernerystelsesforeningen is a Danish non-profit and non-governmental organization that strives to help people suffering from concussion and post-concussive syndrome, as well as working towards better understanding and a cure. Founded in 2013, the volunteers and staff nationwide have helped to provide support and resources to those affected.
The 1926 KBUs Pokalturnering was the 17th edition of the regional tournament, KBUs Pokalturnering, the highest senior cup competition organised by the Copenhagen FA (KBU). The tournament was held in the fall of 1926 with BK Frem, then based on Enghavevej, as the defending cup champions. The season was launched with one match on 22 August 1926 between the last season's runners-up in Copenhagen Football League B.93 and the newly promoted league club BK Fremad Amager. This season's installment was won by B.93 after defeating Kjøbenhavns BK 5–1 in the final played at Københavns Idrætspark on 7 November 1926, which was the club's fifth cup title after having contested in eight finals of the tournament. The 8 participants in the tournament included the six members of the 1925–26 KBUs Mesterskabsrække and the two highest placed teams from the 1925–26 KBUs A-række.
Ann Pernille Vermund Tvede is a Danish architect (MAA) and politician known for co-founding and being the leader of the national-conservative political party Nye Borgerlige from 2015 until 2023. She was previously affiliated with the Conservative People's Party. She is currently a member of the Folketing, having been elected in the 2019 and 2022 Danish general elections.
Radio24syv was a Danish public service radio station sending talk radio. The radio station was financed by public money through mandatory licence fees, but was privately owned by Berlingske Media and PeopleGroup. The public funding was followed by requirements about the types of programs the radio station should broadcast.
Ishøj IF is a football club from Ishøj, Denmark. The club was founded in 2017. Its first squad plays in the Danish 3rd Division. The club has more than 1,000 members. Ishøj IF started its existence in the Zealand Series in 2017.
