The Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Player of the Year is a baseball award given to the Atlantic Coast Conference's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1969 season, with both pitchers and position players eligible. After the 2005 season, the Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Year award was created to honor the most outstanding pitcher.

The Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the men's basketball player in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) voted as the most outstanding player. It has been presented since the league's first season, 1953–54, by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association, and beginning in 2012–13 has also been presented in separate voting by the league's head coaches. The award was first given to Dickie Hemric of Wake Forest, and the coaches' award was first presented in 2013 to Shane Larkin of Miami.
The Big East Conference gave five football awards at the conclusion of every season. The awards were first given in 1991 following the conference's first football season, and last given in 2012 before the conference was restructured as the American Athletic Conference. The five awards included Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Recipients were selected by the votes of the conference's eight head coaches.

Georgia Tech won their ninth tournament championship to earn the league's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. This is the last of 19 athletic championship events held by the conference in the 2013–14 academic year. With the victory, Georgia Tech tied Clemson for the most tournament championships.

The ACC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year award is currently held by Shakur Mohammed, who won the award as a sophomore with Duke, while the ACC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year award is currently held by Andreas Ueland, who won the award as a Senior with Virginia.
