A megamix is a remix containing multiple songs in rapid succession. It often features various artists, unlike a medley, which features one artist each. There may be only one verse or even just a brief chorus of each song used, sometimes in addition to samples of the same or other songs. It is common to use different samples to maintain and sometimes even ridicule the original. To unify the songs together smoothly, a single backing beat may be added as background throughout the megamix, although this is not a must. This backing beat is kept basic so as to simplify mixing and to not compete with the music. These mixes are usually several minutes long at minimum, going up to a half-hour or an hour, or even more sometimes.
"Move in My Direction" is a song written by British duo Bananarama, David Clewett and Ivar Lisinski for Bananarama's ninth studio album Drama (2005). The song was produced by Mute 8 and received a mixed reception from music critics. It was released as the first single in the third quarter of 2005 and reached number four in Israel and number fourteen in the United Kingdom, becoming the duo's first top forty hit in twelve years.
A promotional recording, or promo, or plug copy, is an audio or video recording distributed free, usually in order to promote a recording that is or soon will be commercially available. Promos are normally sent directly to broadcasters, such as music radio and television stations, and to tastemakers, such as DJs and music journalists, in advance of the release of commercial editions, in the hope that airplay, reviews, and other forms of exposure will result and stimulate the public's interest in the commercial release.
"Charly" is the debut single released by the British electronic act the Prodigy, later included on their debut album Experience, although the version featured on the album is the significantly different "Trip into Drum & Bass" remix.
"All or Nothing" is a song by American singer and actress Cher from her twenty-second studio album Believe (1998). It was released as the third international single from Believe in the summer of 1999, by WEA and Warner Bros. Records. After "Strong Enough" didn't do well on the US Billboard Hot 100, "All or Nothing" was released and cracked the Top 40 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales chart at number 38. It peaked at number-one on the Dance/Club Play Songs chart. In Europe, the single was a Top 10 hit in Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary and Scotland, and a Top 20 hit in Denmark and United Kingdom.
"Truth Is" is the first single released by Fantasia from her debut album, Free Yourself. The song peaked at number twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100 and had great success on the US R&B 100 chart, peaking at number two and setting a record for the longest stay at number one for a female artist on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart, with fourteen consecutive weeks. In 2006, Truth Is, along with "Free Yourself", won an ASCAP R&B/Hip-Hop award.
"Goodnight and Go" is a song by British singer-songwriter Imogen Heap, the second single from her 2005 album Speak for Yourself. The single received a little more push and promotion in the US than "Hide and Seek", and the music video received airplay on VH1. Jeff Beck plays guitar on the track.
"Whoa" is the second single from the album The Naked Truth by rapper Lil' Kim which is produced by J.R. Rotem. "Whoa" never made it to the Billboard Hot 100 but did make the R&B/Hip-Hop Tracks chart, where it peaked at number 30. Originally sent to US radio on November 22, 2005, it was then re-released in February to coincide with the airing of her reality show, Lil' Kim: Countdown to Lockdown, for which it served as the theme song. It was released in the United Kingdom on May 15, 2006.
"A Trick of the Night" is a mid-tempo ballad recorded by English girl group Bananarama. It was written and produced by Steve Jolley and Tony Swain and released as the final single from Bananarama's album True Confessions.
"Name of the Game" is the first single from The Crystal Method's second studio album, Tweekend. Despite the popularity of the song, The Crystal Method almost never play it live. The track features guitars by Tom Morello, vocals by Ryan "Ryu" Maginn, and scratching by DJ Swamp; it also contains samples from "Calling All Freaks" (1974) by Tina Dixon. The song enjoyed mainstream success as well as remixes by popular artists.
"Help Yourself" is a song by English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse from her debut studio album Frank (2003). Released as the album's fourth and final single on 23 August 2004 as a double A-side with "Fuck Me Pumps" (Pumps), it reached number 65 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was not included on the U.S. release of Frank. A radio edit was released for promotional purposes. The song samples "You Won't Be Satisfied " as recorded by Doris Day in 1945.
"Inside" is an R&B song from Monica's second studio album, The Boy Is Mine. It was released outside US as the album's fourth single in early 1999. Chart positions are currently unknown. The video, directed by Earle Sebastian only received airplay in Europe as promotion for the album.

"Traffic" is a track single which appeared in the album Just Be and Parade of the Athletes by Dutch DJ Tiësto. The track contains samples of Sean Deason's track "Psykofuk". When the album Just Be was released, his third single "Love Comes Again" was featured with it, "Traffic" turned into a B-side after having great success in Tiësto's concerts and having a music video made which was released in its original form as well as its radio edit version. It is the first instrumental track to reach the top spot in his homeland of the Netherlands in 23 years. Many DJs did remixes for "Traffic". The track is recorded at 136 BPM.

Vision Four 5 was an Australian dance music group whose performances featured interactive video technology. They were formed in 1990 in Brisbane, Queensland with Noel Burgess and fellow students Gavin Sade, Harry Ho and Ben Suthers while studying Music Technology at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. The lineup changed through the first few years to settle from 1993-1997 with members Noel Burgess (Music), Tim Gruchy (Video/Interactives), Ben Suthers (Music) and Al Ferguson (Video/Animation).
"Love Is Lost" is a song by English rock musician David Bowie from his album The Next Day. James Murphy's "Hello Steve Reich Mix for the DFA" was released as the fifth single from Bowie's 24th studio album The Next Day as a promotion for The Next Day Extra, a special edition of bonus tracks, remixes, and music videos. The remix version of the song contains cut and looped samples from a new recording of Steve Reich's 1972 piece "Clapping Music" performed by Murphy and three other musicians, plus a sample from Bowie's 1980 hit "Ashes to Ashes."
"Love Lady" is a single by British R&B group Damage, released on 28 July 1997 as the sixth and final single from the band's debut album, Forever. The song peaked at #33 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the band's second-worst performing single from the album. The song was the band's first single to have been produced by Femi Fem, and was heavily remixed for its release as a single. The music video features the band performing the song in the middle of the desert. The music video does not appear online anywhere and has never been released commercially, however it was regularly re-broadcast on The Vault as part of the channel's Damage: Our Career in Music special. Jade Jones refers to it as his favorite video.
Familia is the sixth studio album by English singer and songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The album was produced by Ed Harcourt, who also produced Ellis-Bextor's previous album, Wanderlust. It was released on 2 September 2016, by EBGB LLP and was critically acclaimed. It was preceded by disco-pop single "Come with Us", which was released on 19 July.
