The Ibsen Centennial Commemoration Award (Norwegian: Ibsenstatuetten) was awarded by the Government of Norway in commemoration of playwright Henrik Ibsen on the occasion of the 2006 Ibsen Year, the 100th anniversary of Ibsen's death. The prize was awarded to 14 actors and 3 officials of state. [1]

Ibsen is the most frequently performed dramatist in the world after Shakespeare, and A Doll's House was the world's most performed play in 2006.

The Order of Diplomatic Service Merit is one of South Korea's orders of merit. It is awarded by the President of South Korea for "outstanding meritorious services in the interest of enhancing national prestige and promoting amity with allies." It is a relatively rare honor, being usually awarded to a handful of people every year, and is one of the highest civilian awards of South Korea.

Because of his significant contributions to the housing, infrastructure, and civil engineering, Moharram received honorary medals and awards such as the Medal of the Order of the Republic of the 1st Degree in 1964 from the former president Gamal Abdel Nasser, Medal of the Order of Merit of the 1st Degree in 1985 from the former president Hosni Mubarak, Mubarak's Award in 2002, and several other honors in Egypt. There is also a prize named after him at Cairo University for contributions in engineering.
