Jeepney TV is a Philippine pay television channel owned and operated by Creative Programs, a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation. Consisting of classic television programs produced by ABS-CBN, the channel is named after a jeepney, an automotive vehicle widely used as a public transportation in the Philippines. [1] A video on demand service for the channel's programs are available worldwide via iWantTFC and TFC IPTV. [2]

History

In 2015, the channel revamped its graphics and program line-up, and the programming schedule was overhauled yet again. [3]

In July 2018, Jeepney TV became available on ABS-CBN TVplus for a free trial basis, until its franchise expiration on May 5, 2020. [4] On June 1, 2020, Jeepney TV temporarily took over ABS-CBN's channel space for ABS-CBN TVplus users due to its franchise being expired. On June 30, 2020, Jeepney TV ceased broadcasting on both ABS-CBN TV Plus and Sky Direct due to the alias cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission, in connection with the expiration of ABS-CBN's congressional franchise. The channel continues to broadcast on Sky Cable and other cable television providers. [5]

On August 1, 2020, Jeepney TV began livestreaming some of its contents along with Kapamilya Channel on the online video-sharing platforms Facebook and YouTube as part of Kapamilya Online Live. [6]

The channel was made available on G Sat Channel 55 on October 5, 2020, [7] SatLite Channel 37 on November 19, 2020, [8] Cignal Channel 44 on January 4, 2021 [9] and Cablelink Channel 9 on February 15, 2024.

On April 15, 2024, some Jeepney TV programs began broadcasting through All TV as part of the Jeepney TV sa All TV programming block, following content agreements signed between ABS-CBN and AMBS. The official launch of this programming block commenced on May 13, 2024. [10]

TeleRadyo Serbisyo is a Philippine pay television channel owned by Media Serbisyo Production Corporation, a joint venture between Prime Media Holdings and ABS-CBN Corporation, with ABS-CBN News as its main content provider, and is available on cable providers throughout the Philippines. TeleRadyo Serbisyo is also simulcasted via The Filipino Channel (TFC) and it can be heard and viewed online via its YouTube channel and iWantTFC. TeleRadyo was also included as a digital subchannel on digital terrestrial television seen via the ABS-CBN TVplus digital TV receivers and other digital TV boxes, until its discontinuation on November 1, 2022. The channel was previously used to simulcast the programs of ABS-CBN's flagship AM radio station, DZMM 630 before the latter went off the air on May 5, 2020 due to a cease and desist order of the National Telecommunications Commission together with ABS-CBN, S+A, and MOR Philippines. The channel went back on-air and online on May 8, 2020 as TeleRadyo, resuming the programming of the former DZMM. On June 28, 2021, TeleRadyo started to broadcast in high-definition feed on YouTube and Facebook while selected shows are being broadcast on Kapamilya Channel and The Filipino Channel in HD. The channel rebranded to TeleRadyo Serbisyo on June 30, 2023 coinciding with the launch of its radio counterpart Radyo 630 under the joint venture of Prime Media and ABS-CBN.

Rated Korina is a Philippine television lifestyle and magazine show produced by ABS-CBN, hosted by Korina Sanchez, who is also serving as the program's line producer. Dreamscape Entertainment is a Philippine television production and entertainment company of ABS-CBN Studios, a division of ABS-CBN Corporation, that supplies telenovelas for its namesake television network ABS-CBN, and sister channels and online platforms. Yey! is a Philippine children's pay television channel created by ABS-CBN, and was one of the freemium channels of ABS-CBN TV Plus. Yey! was the second animation channel of ABS-CBN, after Hero TV. Movie Central was a Philippine pay television channel created by ABS-CBN and one of the freemium channels of ABS-CBN TVplus. The channel's programming consists of mainly foreign and Hollywood movies. It was the second digital terrestrial television-exclusive movie channel after Cine Mo!, which also airs Hollywood and foreign movies in original English audio. Movie Central operated daily from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM of the following day. It was available for a free-trial basis from July 30, 2018, to May 5, 2020, alongside O Shopping, Asianovela Channel, Jeepney TV, and Myx.
