This is a list of all stations of the Noida Metro , a rapid transit system serving Noida and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. It was opened on 25 January 2019. [1] There are a total of 21 metro stations.

Contents

Noida Metro is the 11th metro system in India. The first section of the Delhi Metro opened on 25 January 2019 with the Aqua Line. and has since been expanded to around 28 kilometers of route length as of 25 January 2019. The network has only one operational line and is built and operated by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). [2]

Noida Sector 51 metro station offers an interchange with Delhi Metro. [3]

For One year it will be operated by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), after that, it will be operated by Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRC). [4]

Delhi has significant reliance on its transport infrastructure. The city seeks to develop a highly efficient public transport system with the introduction of the Delhi Metro, which is undergoing a rapid modernization and expansion as of 2006. There are 16.6 million registered vehicles in the city as of 30 June 2014, which is the highest in the world among all cities, most of which do not follow any pollution emission norm, while the Delhi metropolitan region has 11.2 million vehicles. Delhi and NCR lose nearly 42 crore man-hours every month while commuting between home and office through public transport, due to the traffic congestion. Therefore, serious efforts, including a number of transport infrastructure projects, are under way to encourage usage of public transport in the city.

Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar Airport, is an international airport being constructed near Jewar in Gautam Buddha Nagar District, Uttar Pradesh in India. Once completed, it is planned to be the India's largest airport. The Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) will be the implementing agency on behalf of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The airport is to be developed through a public-private partnership model (PPP). Flughafen Zürich AG, the operator of Zurich Airport in Switzerland won the bid in 2019 to build and operate the airport for 40 years. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is also constructing a 31-kilometre long (19 mi) greenfield highway from Jewar Airport to Sector-65, Faridabad on Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.

The Wave Noida Sector 18 is a metro station on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. The central hub for shopping destinations in Noida including The Great India Place, DLF Mall of India. Atta Market(street shopping hub of Noida) among others is located just off the metro station.

The Rainbow Metro Station or Noida Sector 50 is the metro station of the Noida Metro railway, in the city of Noida in India. It was opened on 25 January 2019. NMRC has decide that Noida Sector 50 metro station is to be called 'Rainbow' station & would be dedicated to the transgender community.

The Aqua Line is a line of Noida Metro, a rapid transit system in Noida and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, India. It consists of 21 metro stations from Sector 51 in Noida to Depot in Greater Noida.
