The Eclipse Special Award is part of the Eclipse Award program in United States Thoroughbred horse racing. The Special Award's purpose is to honor outstanding individual achievements in, or contributions to, the sport. It is not awarded every year.

The San Antonio Championship was a golf tournament on the Champions Tour. It was played annually in October in San Antonio, Texas, and was the final full-field event of the Champions Tour season. AT&T was the main sponsor of the tournament from 2006 to 2014. The Canyons Course at TPC San Antonio took over as host beginning in 2011. It was previously played at the Oak Hills Country Club.

The Sam Taub Award is a yearly award presented by the Boxing Writers Association of America for Excellence in Broadcasting Journalism. The award is named after Sam Taub, a journalist and radio broadcaster who is best known for his work covering boxing. It is similar to Major League Baseball's Ford C. Frick Award.

They also had Triple Crown morning shows such as Breakfast at Churchill Downs and Breakfast at Pimlico. ESPN also broadcast NTRA Super Saturdays as well.
