List of churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia

This is a list of current and former Roman Catholic churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia. [1] The cathedral church of the diocese is the Cathedral-Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul. There are more than 200 churches in the archdiocese, divided for administrative purposes into four episcopal regions, each headed by an auxiliary bishop, and 12 deaneries. The Archbishop of Philadelphia has general oversight of the whole archdiocese. [2]

St. Donato Roman Catholic Church, founded in 1910, is a Catholic parish in Overbrook, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The parish is still a Personal (Italian) Parish within the archdiocese. The pastor was the late Rev. Ferdinand Buccafurni. About 650 families are registered, with the total congregation numbering around 1,300.The church has since closed down in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
