Koduri Srisaila Sri Rajamouli is an Indian director and screenwriter who works primarily in Telugu cinema. He is known for his epic, action and fantasy genre films. He is the highest grossing Indian director of all time, as well as the highest-paid director in India. He is a recipient of various national and international honours including a New York Film Critics Circle award, a Critics' Choice Movie Award, two Saturn Awards, and four National Film Awards. In 2016, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, for his contributions in the field of art. In 2023, he was included on the Time's list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

<i>Sye</i> (2004 film) 2004 Indian film

Sye (transl. Challenge) is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language sports action film directed by S. S. Rajamouli from a story by V. Vijayendra Prasad. The story has a rugby union backdrop. Nithin and Genelia D'Souza star while Shashank and Pradeep Rawat play other crucial roles. In the film, two rival groups in a college—Science led by Prudhvi and Arts led by Shashank—fight for superiority through the game of rugby, until a local gangster Bhikshu Yadav takes over their college.

Gemini TV is an Indian Telugu language general entertainment pay television channel owned by Sun TV Network. It was launched on 9 February 1995. Gemini TV is the first satellite TV channel in Telugu. The channel's programming consists of serials, films, film-based programs and game shows alongside some reality shows. Gemini TV HD was launched on 11 December 2011.

GunnamGangaraju is an Indian producer, screenwriter, and director known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu television. He is best known as the creator and co-producer of the TV sitcom Amrutham (2001–2007), widely considered to be the greatest Telugu comedy TV series of all time.

<i>Star Mahila</i> Indian Game show

Star Mahila is an Indian Telugu-language game show for women, hosted by Suma Kanakala. The show airs on ETV at afternoons from 1.00-2.00 pm. It's the second longest Indian game show. Season 1 aired from 1 January 2007 to 7 June 2008 and as ‘Star Mahila’ from 9 June 2008 to 26 January 2019, completing a total of 3181 episodes within a 12-year continuous run without an anchor/season/episode repeat. However, its second season was only premiered for barely 7–8 months from 17 August 2020 to 3 April 2021. It had two Super Star Mahila competitions held in two different times, but of the same season. They featured a selection of participants from various districts of all over Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. The winner of the first season was Sudha from Warangal district; whereas, the winner of SuperStar Mahila 2 was Teja Swaroopa from Rajahmundry of East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh

Kota Aadhayya, professionally known as Hyper Aadi, is an Indian actor and television presenter who appears in Telugu films and television. He was born in Pallamalla Village, Chimakurthy Mandal near to Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. He is known for his appearance in the television comedy show Jabardasth.

Chandra Sekhar, known professionally as Chatrapathi Sekhar, is an Indian actor who primarily works in Telugu films. He is known for his frequent collaborations with S. S. Rajamouli.

Alitho Saradaga is an Indian Telugu-language television talk show hosted by Ali and produced by Gnapika Entertainments. The show was primarily broadcast on ETV. The show was premiered on the television on 24 October 2016. First season was ended on 19 December 2022. Second season was premiered on 5 March 2024.

Pan-Indianfilm is a term related to Indian cinema that originated with Telugu cinema as a mainstream commercial cinema appealing to audiences across the country with a spread to world markets. S. S. Rajamouli pioneered the pan-Indian films movement with duology of epic action films Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), that changed the face of Indian cinema. The term "pan-Indian film" is used for a film that is simultaneously marketed and released in multiple languages across India – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Such films are made to appeal to the audiences across the country, cutting across the linguistic, regional and cultural barriers.

<i>Jayamma Panchayathi</i> 2022 Indian film

Jayamma Panchayathi is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by debutant Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu. The film stars Suma Kanakala. It features music composed by M. M. Keeravani.

Suma Adda is an Indian Telugu-language television sketch comedy and variety talk show hosted by Suma Kanakala and produced by Mallemala Entertainments. Suma Adda premiered on ETV and ETV Win on 7 January 2023.
