Muhammad Al-Saggaf is the 6th President of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He started his career at KFUPM then spent 30 years in the industry at Saudi Aramco,culminating in his position as Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Services for six years,before re-joining the University in January,2020. Born in Jeddah,Saudi Arabia,Al-Saggaf moved after high school to the Eastern Province to attend King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals,from which he earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics. He later earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Geophysics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,and an MBA from KFUPM. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development.
He has received international recognition in Geoscience and Petroleum Engineering,including the J. Clarence Karcher Award from the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), [7] the Lester C. Uren Technical Excellence Award, [8] and the Distinguished Member Award from the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), [9] and the Eisenhower Fellowship. [10]

Saudi Aramco Residential Camp in Dhahran is a residential community built by Saudi Aramco for its employees to live in. It is located within the city of Dhahran in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. There are three areas recognized by the inhabitants in the Dhahran camp. The first built is known as the Main Camp. It is the oldest part and the busiest as it contains the commissary,various shops and parks,and infrastructure. The second area,known as the Hills,is the quietest since it is mostly residential and more family friendly. In 2017,a new residential area was opened and is known as Jebel Heights,it is an extension of the camp on the western edge of the facility. The area of Jebel Heights contains modern villas that vary from three-bedroom houses to five-bedroom houses as well as apartment blocks.

Dr. Datta-Gupta is a co-author of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) textbook Streamline Simulation:Theory and Practice.

Mohamed Yousef Soliman is a professor and the former chairperson of the department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas Tech University. Fred I. Stalkup is a native of Texas and known for his work in the field of oil and gas production. After graduation from high school in Waco,Texas,he was admitted to Rice University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in chemical engineering in 1957 and a Ph. D. in chemical engineering in 1961. Stalkup joined the ARCO Oil and Gas Company in 1961 as a senior research engineer. He became director of process research in 1965,senior research advisor in 1985,and distinguished research advisor in 1993. Stalkup remained with the ARCO organization until 2002,when he joined PetroTel Inc,where he is currently Vice President of EOR and Distinguished Engineering Advisor.
