He was the founder of 'Veer Bharat Sabha', a revolutionary organization based in Rajasthan. He also co-founded 'Rajasthan Seva Sangh' and 'Rajputana-Madhya Bharat Sabha'. He wrote extensively on the theme of nationalism and independence, and also composed poems in Dingal.

The theme for the festival is Unity in Diversity and 24 awards will be awarded in 2 broad categories, (1) For films produced in Rajasthan and, (2) For films produced in other regions of India. In order to honor personalities that have been dedicated to the industry, a Lifetime Achievement Award is also presented at the ceremony.
Hari Shankar Vyas is an Indian journalist, and the Chief-editor and publisher of Naya India, a daily national Hindi newspaper. He is also the consultant for ETV's Hindi channels since 2009. He started anchoring-producing five-day weekly programme for ETV Network Hindi Channels since Feb 2009. Ratan Lal Joshi (1922-2006) was an Indian independence activist, journalist, writer. Born on 28 June 1922 at Churu, a desert city then in Bikaner State. Joshi was involved with the Indian freedom struggle from the age of 18 and suffered incarceration during the Quit India movement. Choosing journalism as a career, he joined Harijan weekly founded by Mahatma Gandhi and trained under the then chief editor, Kishorelal Bhai Mashrulawa. Later, he worked at several publishing houses and edited journals such as Bhai-Bahin, Samaj Sewak, Veer Bhoomi, Rajasthan, Rajasthan Samaj, and Kul Lakshmi. Lal kile main, Krantikari Prer ne Ke Srot and Mrityunjayee are three books published by him.
Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication (HJU) is a state university located at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In similar name, but slightly different abbreviation of HJUJ, a university was established in 2012 by the Congress govt through an Act of the Government of Rajasthan which was closed in 2015 by the next BJP govt. The Congress govt returned to power in December 2018 and a new university for journalism and mass communication — HJU — was constituted through the State Legislature's Act No. 11 of 2019, at the premises of historical Khasa Kothi.
