Miss India or Femina Miss India is a national beauty pageant in India that annually selects representatives to compete in Miss World, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. It is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by The Times Group. Since 2013 to 2022, Femina also organised Miss Diva as a separate competition, with representatives competing at Miss Universe.
Miss World 1996, the 46th edition of the Miss World pageant, took place on 23 November 1996 in the city of Bangalore, India. Preliminaries were shot in India and in Seychelles. 88 contestants from all over the world took part in the prestigious pageant. By the end of the night, 18-year-old Irene Skliva of Greece took home the title. She was crowned by Jacqueline Aguilera of Venezuela.It was the first time the Miss World pageant was held in India.
New Zealand has contested 46 Miss World pageants since that pageant's inception in 1951. No New Zealander has won the Miss World title, although two have placed first runner-up.
Grasim Mr. India was a national male beauty pageant in India that annually selected representatives to compete globally at Mr. International, Mister World, Mr. Intercontinental and Best Model of the World. In the years 1996 and 1998, the winner of the contest represented India at Mister World contest. Later the title was changed to "Mr. India" International and the winner was sent to compete at Mr. International pageant. Later in 2007 and 2008, Hayward 5000 organized Mr India pageant and the winner was sent to Mister World. In 2010 and 2012, Grasim Mr. India again sent its winner to Mister World and the title was renamed Mr India World. Since 2014, The Times Group owns the right to organize Mr India World contest and its winner represents India at Mister World.

Provogue MensXP Mr India World 2014 was the sixth edition of Mister World India pageant held in Mumbai on May 8, 2014. Fourteen contestants from all over India were chosen as finalists to compete in the main event in Mumbai. 25 years old Prateik Jain from Bangalore was declared Provogue MensXP Mr India World 2014. 25 years old Puneet Beniwal from New Delhi was declared 1st Runner Up and 23 years old Bharat Raj from Chennai was declared 2nd Runner Up.

She was crowned Glamanand Miss India International 2015 and she represented India at Miss International 2015 pageant held in Tokyo, Japan. She was awarded Panasonic Beauty Ambassador for the year 2015 award by the Panasonic organisation and Miss Visit Japan Tourism Ambassador by the Japan Tourism and International Cultural association at Miss International pageant. Supriya Aiman was awarded Asia Star Model award in South Korea, Seoul in the year of 2018 may in Asia Model Festival irrespective of her contribution in The modelling industry.
Provogue Personal Care Mr India 2015 was the seventh edition of Mr India World contest held in Mumbai on July 23, 2015. Fifteen contestants from all over the country were shortlisted to compete in the main event held in Mumbai. Previous year's winner, Mr India 2014 and Mister World 2014 finalist, Prateik Jain passed on his title to Rohit Khandelwal of Hyderabad, Telangana. Rahul Rajasekharan from Kerala was declared the 1st Runner Up and Prateek Gujral from Maharashtra was declared the 2nd Runner Up at the grand finale held in Club Royalty, Mumbai.
The second running of the Miss Earth India beauty pageant was held in September 2016. The winner represented India at the Miss Earth 2016 competition.

Miss Nagaland is a state beauty pageant held annually since 1989 in the Northeastern Indian state of Nagaland. Peter England Mr India 2017 was the ninth edition of Mr India World contest held on 14 December in Mumbai. Sixteen contestants from all over the country were shortlisted to compete in the finals. Previous year's winner, Mr India 2016, Vishnu Raj Menon passed on his title to Jitesh Singh Deo of Lucknow. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took part of the event to felicitate the winners.
Miss Diva 2019 was the 7th edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant held on 26 September 2019. Miss Universe India 2018, Nehal Chudasama crowned Vartika Singh as her successor. She represented India at Miss Universe 2019 which was held in Atlanta, Georgia. Shefali Sood was crowned as Miss Supranational India 2019 by her predecessor, Aditi Hundia and she represented India at Miss Supranational 2019 held in Poland. Also, Varun Verma was selected as India's representative at the Mister Supranational 2019 contest.
Miss Diva 2021 was the 9th edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant which was held on 30 September 2021 in Hyatt Regency Hotel, Mumbai. The 20 shortlisted contestants from all over the country competed in the pageant. Adline Castelino crowned Harnaaz Sandhu as her successor. After three months, she represented India at Miss Universe 2021 and became the 3rd Miss Universe from India to win the crown. Aavriti Choudhary crowned Ritika Khatnani as her successor. She represented India at Miss Supranational 2022 and won the title of Miss Supranational Asia 2022. Neha Jaiswal crowned Sonal Kukreja as 1st Runner-Up, whereas Kriti Sanon sashed all the remaining Runners-Up. Divita Rai was selected to represent India at Miss Universe 2022 and was placed in top 16. She was the only Asian contestant placed based on the judges' decision.
Rahul Rajasekharan Nair is an Indian model, actor and the winner of Mister Supranational India 2021 beauty pageant title. He represented India at Mister Supranational 2021 held on 22 August 2021 at Nowy Sącz, Poland and made it to the Top 10 finalists and also bagged the Mister Supranational Asia 2021 title.
Mr India or Rubaru Mr. India is a national beauty pageant for men in India. The pageant was created by Rubaru Group in the year 2004. It is responsible for sending India’s representatives to international pageants – Caballero Universal, Mister Global, Mister Model International, Mister Model Worldwide, Mister Grand International, Mister Tourism World, Mister International, Mister National Universe, Mister Friendship International, Mister Star Universe and Mister Fashion Model. The pageant is India’s oldest surviving national male pageant. It was founded by the president of Rubaru Group, Sandeep Kumar in the Indian state of Haryana, and Pankaj Kharbanda is the vice president of the pageant.
Divita Rai ; is an Indian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe India on 28 August 2022 in Mumbai by outgoing Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, and represented India at Miss Universe 2022, held on 14 January 2023. She placed in the top 16, being one of two Asians to qualify for the semi-finals by the selection committee. The other being Laos.
