Restaurant magazine is a British magazine aimed at chefs, restaurant proprietors and other catering professionals that covers the breadth of the UK restaurant industry.

History and profile

Restaurant was founded in 2001. [1] The magazine is published monthly by William Reed Business Media [2] and had a circulation of 16,642 in December 2011. [3]

It produces an annual list of what it considers to be the best 50 restaurants in the world, based on the votes of 837 "chefs, restaurateurs, critics and fun-loving gourmands". [4]

Food & Wine is an American monthly magazine published by Dotdash Meredith. It was founded in 1978 by Ariane and Michael Batterberry. It features recipes, cooking tips, travel information, restaurant reviews, chefs, wine pairings and seasonal/holiday content and has been credited by The New York Times with introducing the dining public to "Perrier, the purple Peruvian potato and Patagonian toothfish".

Morning Advertiser is one of the oldest news publications in the world, beginning as a newspaper in 1794 and being published in hard copy until 2020. In 2011, William Reed Ltd, bought The Publican from United Business Media and merged the two titles to form The Publican's Morning Advertiser, a printed magazine with a news website. The merger returned its original name to the Morning Advertiser in July 2016. As of April 2020, the printed magazine has been suspended and all content has been published on the website www.morningadvertiser.co.uk, which attracts 277,659 unique users per month.

Aquavit is a Scandinavian restaurant located at 65 East 55th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. In November 2016, an outpost was launched in London by Philip Hamilton.

Chef is a Swedish language monthly management and business magazine published in Stockholm, Sweden.

Eduardo García is a Mexican chef and founder of Mexico City restaurants Máximo Bistrot and Lalo! He is often considered one of Mexico's top chefs.

Pongtawat "Ian" Chalermkittichai, known in English as Ian Kittichai, is a Thai chef, restaurateur, and cookbook writer. He and his restaurant, Issaya Siamese Club in Bangkok, Thailand, have earned acclaim from the New York Times, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure and other publications. Issaya Siamese Club has been listed on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, a division of The World's 50 Best Restaurants, most recently ranked number 39 in 2018. Australian Traveller magazine listed Issaya Siamese Club as one of the world’s hottest restaurants in 2018.
