Robert J. Sigg is an American media executive and owner of Colorado-based Performance One Media, which is the holding company for Real America's Voice and WeatherNation TV. [1] [2] [3] Sigg's career in media began with Turner Media Group and outdoor sports channel In Country Television. [4]

History

In 2004, Sigg was charged with mortgage fraud in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado [5] and was convicted in 2006. [2] [6] He had previously been arrested for burglary and assault in Jefferson County, Colorado, drug distribution in Weld County, Colorado, domestic violence in Parker, Colorado, and assault and battery in Aurora, Colorado. In 2006, Sigg founded Performance One Media, [1] which originally focused on placing infomercials on cable television. [10] In 2007, Sigg's previous media venture, Turner Media Group, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. [1]

In 2010, Sigg's Performance One Media gained trademark and brand rights to Paul Douglas' WeatherNation. [11] [12] Performance One Media later gained full ownership and control over WeatherNation following a lawsuit against it in 2014. [13]

In 2018, WeatherNation TV was dropped by DirecTV. [1] In 2019, Sigg's network purchased distribution rights to Steve Bannon's War Room podcast. [1] In 2021, Sigg discussed his desire to turn his network's footage of Donald Trump rallies into non-fungible tokens. [1]

JonBenét Patricia Ramsey was an American child beauty queen who was killed at the age of six in her family's home at 755 15th Street in Boulder, Colorado. A long handwritten ransom note was found in the home. Her father, John, found the girl's body in the basement of their house about seven hours after she had been reported missing. She had sustained a broken skull from a blow to the head and had been strangled; a garrote was found tied around her neck. The autopsy report stated that JonBenét's official cause of death was "asphyxia by strangulation associated with craniocerebral trauma". Her death was ruled a homicide. The case generated worldwide public and media interest, in part because her mother Patsy Ramsey, a former beauty queen, had entered JonBenét into a series of child beauty pageants. The crime is still considered a cold case and remains an open investigation with the Boulder Police Department.

The Colorado Daily was a newspaper published in Boulder, Colorado, by Prairie Mountain Publishing Co. LLC, a unit of MediaNews Group. Its final issue was published on September 17, 2022. The Daily was operated out of the offices of Boulder's Daily Camera newspaper. Originally the student newspaper of the University of Colorado, the Daily became independent in 1970 and underwent several ownership changes since 2001, coming under the control of the Camera, its former competitor, when it was purchased by the E.W. Peter Boyles is a radio talk show personality. He had a long-running morning drive-time show in Denver, Colorado on 630 KHOW, until May 2013. Boyles began his radio career as a traffic reporter in the early 1970s, later becoming a disk jockey. He has worked at Denver radio stations KNUS KAAT, KLAK, KWBZ, KYBG, and KOA. He retired in April 2022 from his morning program on AM 710 KNUS but returned to the station in September 2022 as host of a three-hour Saturday morning program.

The network's studio facilities, along with its headquarters and master control facilities are located in the Denver suburb of Centennial, Colorado, sharing production facilities with sister network Real America's Voice.

Jessica Ridgeway was an American girl who, at the age of 10, was kidnapped in Westminster, Colorado, and murdered by Austin Sigg on October 5, 2012.

Auon'tai M. "Tay" Anderson is an American politician and community organizer from Denver, Colorado. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as a director of the Denver Public Schools Board of Education from 2019 to 2023. In September 2021, he was censured by the board for "behavior unbecoming of a board member" following an investigation of allegations against him.

Suspicion is a British thriller television series based on the Israeli series False Flag. Set in London and New York City, the series premiered on Apple TV+ on 4 February 2022. It received generally mixed reviews from critics. The series was cancelled after one season.

Real America's Voice is a right-wing to far-right streaming, cable and satellite television channel founded in 2020 and owned by Robert J. Sigg. The network and online presences have promoted right-wing and far-right conspiracy theories, including COVID-19 misinformation, 2020 election conspiracies, and QAnon. The network is a sister channel to WeatherNation TV. It is of no relation to the former National Empowerment Television of the late 1990s, which rebranded to America's Voice in its final years.
