The S60 Platform was a software platform for smartphones that runs on top of the Symbian operating system. It was created by Nokia based on the 'Pearl' user interface from Symbian Ltd. It was introduced at COMDEX in November 2001 and first shipped with the Nokia 7650 smartphone. The platform has since seen 5 updated editions. Series 60 was renamed to S60 in November 2005.
The Nokia N91 is a mobile phone produced by Nokia as part of their Nseries line of portable devices. It was announced on April 27, 2005 along with N70 and N90 as the first three Nseries devices. The N91 ran on Symbian-based S60 3rd Edition. It was the first ever phone encompassing a 4 GB internal hard drive, allowing storage for 3,000 songs. The N91 is highly focused on music,. with dedicated music keys on the front which slide down to reveal the keypad. It also featured the industry-standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, and was anticipated as a major challenger to Apple, whose iPod dominated the industry. The design of the N91 is based on stainless steel with a matte finish.
The Nokia N70 is a 3G mobile phone from Nokia. It was announced as part of the Nokia's new line of multimedia smartphones, the Nseries, on 27 April 2005. It started shipping in September 2005. It runs on the S60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3 on Symbian v8.1 operating system. It was succeeded by the Nokia N73. The N70 was popular and sold well.
The Nokia 3250 is a mobile phone running Symbian OS v9.1, announced on 26 September 2005. It features a unique 'twist' design that transforms the traditional phone keypad into a camera and dedicated music control keys. It was marketed as a music phone and can store up to 2 gigabytes of music and other data thanks to a microSD memory card slot, and features a two-megapixel camera as well as other smartphone capabilities.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator is a mobile phone made by Nokia, announced on 12 February 2007. It has been available since June 2007. It runs on Symbian OS v9.2 with a S60 3rd Edition FP1 user interface. It is not to be confused with the 1997/98 Nokia 6110. The Nokia 6110 Navigator includes pre-loaded navigation maps.
The Nokia 6120 classic is a mid-range mobile phone from Nokia that was announced on 17 April 2007. It runs on Symbian v9.2 with a S60 3rd Edition FP1 user interface.
The Nokia N82 is a high-end mobile phone produced by Nokia, and announced on 14 November 2007 as part of the company's Nseries line. The N82 runs Symbian OS v9.2. The N82 inherits much of the Nokia N95's features and specifications, with the major addition being its xenon flash. At the time the N82 was considered one of the most sophisticated camera phone on the market. It is also considered a successor to the Nokia N95, preceding the Nokia N96.
The Nokia N96 is a discontinued high-end mobile phone announced by Nokia on 11 February 2008 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona as part of the Nseries line. The N96 runs Symbian OS v9.3. It is compatible with the N-Gage 2.0 gaming platform and has a DVB-H TV tuner and AV output.
Nokia 6220 classic is a Symbian OS mobile phone announced by Nokia on 11 February 2008. It is notable for featuring a Xenon flash for its 5-megapixel camera, similar to Nokia N82 and often considered as a "budget" version of the N82. Despite its compact size, it offers features comparable to the Nseries lineup, though it lacks Wi-Fi and a 3.5 mm audio jack, probably to cut design and production costs.

The Nokia E71 is a mobile phone introduced on 8 May 2008 from the Eseries range with a QWERTY keyboard targeting business users worldwide. It runs on Symbian OS v9.2, with a Series 60 3rd Edition, second generation Feature Pack 1. The Nokia E71 succeeded the Nokia E61/61i models, building on the base design and form factor but enhancing on the feature set.
The Sony Ericsson C905 is a high-end mobile phone in Sony's 'C' (Cyber-shot) range, which, along with the low-end 'S' (Snapshot) range cameras, supplants the earlier 'K' range of camera phones. It is the flagship model in Sony Ericsson's range for 2008 and it was released on 22 October 2008. It's the first 8-megapixel camera phone to be released outside Korea, while adding the Assisted GPS (A-GPS) and Wi-Fi function. It is also the first Sony Ericsson mobile phone to support the DLNA sharing network as well as the first Cyber-shot phone to also be released for AT&T.
Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a smartphone part of the XpressMusic line, announced by Nokia on 2 October 2008 in London and started shipping in November of that year. Code-named "Tube", it was the first touchscreen-equipped S60 device by Nokia – essentially it was the first device to run Symbian^1, also known as S60 5th Edition, the touch-specific S60-based platform created by the Symbian Foundation. The touchscreen features tactile feedback.
The LG KC910 Renoir is a high-end feature phoneand they are only 5 of it released by LG Electronics. The LG Renoir was the world's first full touchscreen 8-megapixel camera phone. It debuted on 2 October 2008 as the successor of the LG Viewty. Like the Viewty is incorporates xenon flash with Schneider Kreuznach optics.
The Nokia E63 is a mobile phone announced on 12 November 2008 and released later that year. It is based on Symbian's S60 software platform and is considered a budget business smartphone positioned below the Nokia E71, featuring a plastic body instead of metal. Many of the specifications are identical to the E71 except for the lack of GPS and infrared, a lesser RAM, lack of HSDPA and lower-resolution camera with a fixed-focus lens. The E63 does come with a flashlight function using the camera flash, which is not present in the E71. It also has a more standardized 3.5 mm audio jack whereas the E71 uses a 2.52 mm jack as used on older Nokia phones. The E63 retailed for about 199 euros before taxes. The device was succeeded by the Nokia E5, but remain in production until its discontinuation in late 2011 in favour of Nokia's Lumia lineup.
The Nokia N85 is a mobile phone produced by Nokia, announced on 27 August 2008 as part of the Nseries line. The N85 runs on Symbian OS v9.3 with S60 3rd Edition platform with Feature Pack 2. It was released in October, retailing for 450 euros before taxes.
Samsung GT-i8910 Omnia HD is a smartphone manufactured by Samsung Electronics, first announced at MWC 2009 on February 18, 2009. The device was the first phone capable of playing and recording 720p HD video. It runs on the S60 5th Edition (Symbian^1) platform, the only Samsung device to do so.
The Nokia E52 and Nokia E55 are mobile phones from Nokia's business-oriented Eseries range. They run Symbian OS v9.3. The E55 was announced on 16 February 2009, whilst the E52 was announced later on 6 May 2009. They are both physically and functionally identical, except that the E55 has a 'half-QWERTY' keyboard, similar to the SureType keyboard on BlackBerry Pearl, whereas the E52 revision has a traditional T9 keypad.
The Nokia 6720 is a mid-range Symbian OS mobile phone released by Nokia. It was unveiled to public in Barcelona and Singapore on February 16, 2009. It is the successor of the Nokia 6220 classic and features several improvement over its predecessor, such as the addition of A-GPS and noise cancellation. Like the 6220, it offers features comparable to the higher end models, although the Xenon flash previously featured in the 6220 is now replaced by a conventional LED flash for higher power efficiency.
The Nokia C7-00 is a smartphone from the Nokia Cseries. It was introduced on 14 September 2010 and released in Q4 2010. The C7-00 features a 3.5-inch (89 mm), 640 x 360 pixel capacitive touchscreen and features 720p video recording, and was also the world's first smartphone to have NFC capability. Nokia's mobile phone business head Anssi Vanjoki called it the "sleekest" device in the world. Unlike the Nokia N8 flagship, the C7 has physical call and hangup buttons.
