Sarah Posner is an American journalist and author. She is the author of two books about the American Christian right and has written for The American Prospect , The Guardian , [1] The Nation , [2] Salon , AlterNet , The Atlantic , [3] The Washington Spectator , VICE, [4] The Daily Beast , [5] The New Republic , [4] HuffPost , [4] Mother Jones, [6] Rolling Stone, [7] MSNBC [8] and The Washington Post [9] among other publications. [4] She was formerly a contributing writer for Religion Dispatches , writing on the intersection of religion and politics. [10]

Her second book, Unholy, was favorably reviewed by the National Catholic Reporter [11] and by writers at Wesleyan University [12] and Washington University in St. Louis. [13] Terry Gross interviewed Posner about her book on Fresh Air. [14]
