The prime minister of India is the head of government of the Republic of India. Executive authority is vested in the prime minister and their chosen Council of Ministers, despite the president of India being the nominal head of the executive. The prime minister is often the leader of the party or the coalition with a majority in the lower house of the Parliament of India, the Lok Sabha, which is the main legislative body in the Republic of India. The prime minister and their cabinet are at all times responsible to the Lok Sabha.

The Janata Party was a political party that was founded as an amalgam of Indian political parties opposed to the Emergency that was imposed between 1975 and 1977 by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of the Indian National Congress. In the 1977 general election, the party defeated the Congress and Janata leader Morarji Desai became the first non-Congress prime minister in independent modern India's history.

Ssshhhh... Koi Hai is an Indian horror thriller television anthology series created by Cinevistaas Limited and Contiloe Entertainment for Star Plus. The first season was created by them together, while later seasons were only created by Abhimanyu Raj Singh and were aired on Star Plus' sister channel Star One. The series which premiered on 27 July 2001, ran for three seasons ending on 16 May 2010.

As of 2015, Coomi Kapoor is on the Executive Committee of the Editor's Guild of India. Kapoor's brother-in-law is BJP leader Subramanian Swamy.

Naushadnama is a 2013 biography of the Indian composer Naushad by the journalist and critic Raju Bharatan. Consisting of 21 chapters, the book predominantly focuses on Naushad's musical career from his debut in 1940 with Prem Nagar, his rise to stardom, up to his final release Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story (2005). It also slightly covers his personal life, such as his birth on the Christmas day of 1919, his two-time marriages, and his death due to cardiac arrest in 2006.
