Sydney Dragway, also known as WSID for its former name, Western Sydney International Dragway, is a $30 million, purpose built quarter mile drag racing facility that opened in February, 2004. WSID is based on international specifications [1] and combines the best in competitor, spectator and corporate facilities. [2] It is located next to Sydney Motorsport Park and is sanctioned by the International Hot Rod Association following a court settlement on 2 February 2022.
In 2021, the circuit became home to the new Sydney Speedway, built next to the shutdown area.
WSID hosts a large variety of events, ranging from international Top Fuel dragster meetings through to Street Meets where the public can bring their own cars to the track to race. Street Meets are held every Wednesday night, except on days such as Christmas and New Year's Day. [3]
Also held at the dragway was Iqon, an inaugural Australian exclusive event by Q-Dance.

Sydney Motorsport Park is a motorsport circuit located on Brabham Drive, Eastern Creek, New South Wales, Australia, adjacent to the Western Sydney International Dragway. It was built and is owned by the New South Wales Government and is operated by the Australian Racing Drivers Club. The circuit is one of only two permanent tracks in Australia with an FIA Grade 2 license and is licensed for both cars and motorcycles.
Top Doorslammer is a professional (Pro) class of Australian drag racing. It caters to full-bodied racing sedans which are replicas of Australian or US production vehicles. The class uses 514 cu. in. displacement (8.5-litre), mechanically supercharged V8 engines which are fueled by methanol. The minimum weight break for these vehicles is 2700 lbs (1225 kg). It is similar to the Pro Modified class as defined by the NHRA.

Atlanta Dragway was a drag racing facility located in Banks County, Georgia, just north of Commerce, Georgia. From 1981 until its closure after the 2021 season, it hosted the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, Southern Nationals.
Willowbank Raceway is a drag racing facility located off the Cunningham Highway, Willowbank, City of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 30–45 minutes drive west of Brisbane. It is part of the Ipswich Motorsport Precinct, which includes a kart racing track; Ipswich Sprint Racing Circuit, a short circuit dirt racetrack; Ipswich Motor Sport Complex and bitumen racetrack Queensland Raceway. Since the closing of Surfers Paradise International Raceway following the 1987 Winternationals, the popular event, one of the largest drag racing festivals in the southern hemisphere, moved to the circuit in 1988. Between the end of Calder Park Raceway's top level drag racing career and the opening of Western Sydney International Dragway, it also hosted the Australian Drag Racing Nationals.

The Sydney International Shooting Centre in Cecil Park, New South Wales, Australia was built for the shooting events at the 2000 Summer Olympics. It has also been used for ISSF World Cup events in 2002, 2004, 2007 and the 2007 rifle and pistol events. Castlereagh International Dragway was a drag racing venue in the outer suburbs of Sydney, Australia used between 1947 and 1984. Originally an airstrip far away from residential development, as the urban sprawl came closer the land became more valuable as housing. Drag racers in Sydney then moved their activities to the 1000 foot strip at Oran Park Raceway.

Alice Springs Inland Dragway, also known as ASID is a motorsports complex located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Australia. Owned and operated by the Central Australian Drag Racing Association (CADRA), it is the only purpose-built quarter mile drag racing venue in regional Australia and is sanctioned by the Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) and Motorsport Australia.
