The 2015 NCAA Division II baseball tournament decided the baseball champion of the NCAA Division II level for the 2014 season. The Screaming Eagles of the University of Southern Indiana won their second national championship as led by head coach Tracy Archuleta. The Screaming Eagles defeated the Mavericks of Colorado Mesa University in the national championship. Southern Indiana pitcher Matt Chavarria was named most outstanding player of the tournament.

The2016 NCAA Division II baseball tournament decided the champion of baseball in NCAA Division II for the 2016 season. the Nova Southeastern Sharks won their first national championship, beating the Millersville Marauders, both teams in their first College World Series. The 2019 NCAA Division II baseball tournament decided the champion of baseball at the NCAA Division II level for the 2019 season. the Tampa Spartans won their eighth national championship in program history by defeating the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, who were playing in their second national championship. Head Coach Joe Urso won his fifth national championship in his tenure at Tampa. This tournament also introduced a super regional round to the tournament as the eight regionals were instead split into sixteen. Following which, the regional champions would face off in a best-of-three super regional, the winners of the super regionals would then advance to the College World Series.

The Tampa Spartans won their seventh national championship, beating the Indians of Catawba College in the national championship. Tampa catcher Nick Tindall was named tournament Most Outstanding Player, while Tampa head coach Joe Urso won his fourth championship with the Spartans.

Mississippi State defeated Vanderbilt in the best-of-three final series to win their first national championship in program history.
