Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi is an Iranian politician and was the former minister of science and technology in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Order of Service is an Iranian state general order. For the first time, it was established and awarded during the Pahlavi dynasty and during the reign of Reza Shah. After Iranian Revolution it was re-established by "Council of Iran Ministers" in November 21, 1990. The order has three classes. According to Article 12 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Service awarded by President of Iran to recognize "achieving distinguished success" in one of the following:

"#StopExecutionsInIran" is a hashtag originated on July 14, 2020, in response to the news of the order of executions for three young men by the names of Amir Hossein Moradi, Mohammad Rajabi, and Saeed Tamjidi; who were among the protesters in the 2019–2020 Iranian protests. The hashtag was conceived after the news of their order of execution was confirmed, and managed to be on top of the trending page on Twitter for two hours, being the first trending hashtag in Germany, second in Canada and even reaching ninth in England. Though there were interruptions of the Iran's bandwidth during the hashtag's lifespan, it managed to pass 8 million mentions by the dawn of July 15, 2020. It is also worth noting that since Twitter is blocked by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology of Iran, almost all of the twitter users from Iran need to use a VPN; thus the location of the tweets that are sent from Iran are disguised as the destination location of their chosen VPN service. The hashtag resurged in popularity after the death of wrestler Navid Afkari, who was believed to have been pressured to confess to murder.

On 16 September 2022, the 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini, also known as Jina Amini, died in a hospital in Tehran, Iran, under suspicious circumstances. The Guidance Patrol, the religious morality police of Iran's government, arrested Amini for allegedly not wearing the hijab in accordance with government standards. The Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that she had a heart attack at a police station, collapsed, and fell into a coma before being transferred to a hospital. However, eyewitnesses, including women who were detained with Amini, reported that she was severely beaten and that she died as a result of police brutality, which was denied by the Iranian authorities. The assertions of police brutality, in addition to leaked medical scans, led some observers to believe Amini had a cerebral hemorrhage or stroke due to head injuries received after her arrest.

Minoo Majidi was a 62-year-old Iranian woman who was killed by Iranian authorities during the September 2022 Iranian protests.
On 12 October 2022, Iranian teenager Asra Panahi was killed during the Mahsa Amini protests in the city of Ardabil. She was among a group of students at Shahed Girls High School who are reported to have refused to join a pro-government demonstration and perform the "Salam Farmandeh" song. The students are reported to have been beaten by plainclothes security forces summoned to the school. Panahi died at Fatemi Hospital in Ardabil after sustaining severe injuries.

Khodanur Lojei or Lajai was an Iranian protester from Zahedan, who was killed during the 2022 Zahedan massacre, one of the Mahsa Amini protests.
Kian Pirfalak was an Iranian child who was killed by Islamic Republic security forces in his parent's vehicle in the city of Izeh in Khuzestan province, Iran, during Iran's 2022 nationwide protests. His father Meysam Pirfalak was also critically injured in the assault and was hospitalized. His mother and other family members who witnessed the incident blame the attack on Iranian security forces. Islamic Republic news agencies, including IRNA, blamed his death on terrorists, circulating a statement attributed to ISIS, alleging that the group has claimed the deadly shooting that killed him. BBC Monitoring, however, investigated the statement and concluded that it was fake.

The BBC included an unknown woman cutting her hair as one of their 100 Women in 2022.
Mohammad Reza Sarvari was a Afghan teenager who was killed by Iranian authorities during the September 2022 Mahsa Amini protests in the city of Shahr-e Ray in Tehran Province, Iran. The Iranian government had released propaganda after his death, stating it was a suicide; but which disagreed with Sarvari's official burial certificate that was released by his lawyer.
Death sentences during the Mahsa Amini protests is a list of Iranian citizens sentenced to death or charged with crimes punishable by death under the Islamic Republic of Iran during Iran's nationwide protests of 2022. Following rushed trials that were widely criticized by human rights organizations, the Islamic Republic executed two protestors, Mohsen Shekari and Majidreza Rahnavard, on December 8 and 12, 2022, respectively, and charged dozens with offenses that are punishable by death in Iran. The list does not include demonstrators who have been killed by police during the protests, and it does not include people who received death sentences for convictions unrelated to the protests.
