The 2023 North Texas SC season was the club's fifth season. The first three seasons North Texas SC competed in USL League One, including their championship year in the inaugural 2019 season. In December 2021, North Texas SC announced that they would compete in the inaugural MLS Next Pro season, a new division three league in American soccer. [2]

The 2015 FC Dallas season was the club's 20th season in existence in Major League Soccer, the top tier of the American soccer pyramid. Including the Dallas Tornado soccer franchise of the original NASL, this is the 35th season of professional soccer in Dallas. The season saw the team finish first in the Western Conference in the regular season for the second time.
The 2016 FC Dallas season was the club's 21st season in existence in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of the United States soccer league system. The club played its home games at Toyota Stadium for the 12th straight year.
The 2017 FC Dallas season was the club's 22nd season in Major League Soccer, the top tier of the United States soccer league system. Competitive fixtures began in February 2017, when FC Dallas began their matches in the knockout stages of the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League. The club kicked off their 2017 MLS season in March. Dallas entered the season as the defending U.S. Open Cup champions and Supporters' Shield holders, as well as the defending champions for the minor rivalry trophy, the Brimstone Cup.
The 2018 Los Angeles FC season was the club's inaugural season, and their first season in Major League Soccer, the top-tier of the American soccer pyramid. Los Angeles FC play its home games at the Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Outside of MLS play, LAFC participated in the 2018 U.S. Open Cup tournament, and qualified for the 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs, being eliminated in the knockout round.

North Texas Soccer Club is a professional soccer club playing in the MLS Next Pro, a third division league of American soccer. The team is owned by, and operates as the reserve team of the Major League Soccer club FC Dallas. While the senior club is based, and plays, in Frisco, Texas, North Texas SC as of 2020 is based in Arlington, Texas, 38 miles / 70km south of Toyota Stadium Frisco, at Choctaw Stadium. The team was announced as a founder member of League One on November 2, 2018.

David Rodríguez Uribe is a professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder for MLS Next Pro club Austin FC II, on loan from Liga MX team Atlético San Luis. Born in Mexico, he represented the United States national under-17 team.
