The 2024 mid-year rugby union internationals (also known as the summer internationals in the Northern Hemisphere) are international rugby union matches that will be mostly played in the Southern Hemisphere during the July international window.

The Samoa national rugby union team represents the Samoa Rugby Union in men's international rugby union. They are also known as "Manu Samoa", which is thought to derive from the name of a Samoan warrior. They perform a traditional Samoan challenge called the siva tau before each game. FMG Stadium Waikato is a major sporting and cultural events venue in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a total capacity of 25,800. The 2010 end-of-year rugby union tests, also known as the Autumn internationals in the northern hemisphere, saw Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in a competitive tour of the northern hemisphere. Test matches were also arranged with the various Pacific island teams and other non-Tier 1 international sides. These international games counted towards World Rugby's ranking system, with a team typically playing from two to four matches during this period.

The 2021 mid-year rugby union internationals were a series of international rugby union matches. Due to ongoing restrictions around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of matches were cancelled, and some series moved so that the Northern Hemisphere nations hosted the matches, and some teams played for the first time since their final matches of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">International rugby league in 2022</span>

A list of men and women international rugby league matches played throughout 2022 and does not include wheelchair rugby league international matches. A † denotes a recognised, but unofficial match that did not contribute to the IRL World Rankings.

In July and August 2023, several rugby union national teams played matches in preparation for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Some of the matches involving Tier 1 and 2 nations were played under the Summer Nations Series branding.

The Wales national rugby union team are scheduled to tour Australia in July 2024 as part of the 2024 Summer Internationals. The first test is to be played on 6 July at the new Sydney Football Stadium in Sydney, New South Wales, with the second test to follow a week later at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium in Melbourne, Victoria. A pre-tour match against South Africa on 22 June was announced in February 2024; the match will be played at Twickenham Stadium in London due to a clash with concerts by Taylor Swift and the Foo Fighters at the Millennium Stadium either side of the match. After the two tests, Wales will also play a tour match against the Queensland Reds at Lang Park, Brisbane.

In July 2024, the England rugby union team is scheduled to tour New Zealand, where they will play two tests against the New Zealand national team, a part of the 2024 Summer Internationals. On the way to New Zealand, England will also play a match against Japan at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo.
