The Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Diaspora Feature is an annual merit by the Africa Film Academy to reward the best feature films by non-Africans for the year. It was introduced in the 2011 ceremony. [1]

From a Whisper is a Kenyan drama film written and directed by African Movie Academy Award winner Wanuri Kahiu. The 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards ceremony honouring movies of 2013 was scheduled to take place in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on 26 April 2014, but was shifted to 24 May 2014. The nomination party was held at Emperor Palace, Johannesburg, South Africa on 2 April 2014.
