Arashk was an Iranian hard rock/metal [1] band that were active between 2004-2008 and based in Tehran.
Arashk was formed in 2001 [2] by vocalist/guitarist Pouyan Khajavi and drummer Shahram Khosraviani in Tehran, Iran. In 2004, Salim Ghazi Saeedi joined the band. [3] Their live performances consisted of occasional concerts at universities in Iran. [4] The band released a total of four albums: Abrahadabra (2006), Sovereign (2007) and Ustuqus-al-Uss (2008) (which were composed by Salim Ghazi Saeedi), and YELL (2008), which was composed mainly by Pouyan Khajavai and Shahram Khosraviani. Salim Ghazi Saeedi played secondary guitars on YELL, and recorded and mixed the album. The band became inactive after their 2008 release due to limited chances for live performances in Iran. [5] Salim Ghazi Saeedi continued as a one-man-band under his own name.
The albums Abrahadabra, Sovereign and Ustuqus-al-Uss are instrumental with influences of progressive rock, [6] progressive metal, [7] rock in opposition, [8] acid jazz [9] and has been compared to "progressive phase of Rush", [10] [11] King Crimson, [8] [12] Univers Zero. [12] [13]

Their fourth release, YELL is a hard rock album with Persian vocals with poems from Ferdowsi, Masud Sa'd Salman, Mehdi Akhavan-Sales, Saadi. [17]
Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band from Jessheim, formed in 1993. The name is derived from Dimmuborgir, a volcanic formation in Iceland, the name of which means "dark cities" or "dark castles/fortresses" in Icelandic, Faroese and Old Norse. The band has been through numerous lineup changes over the years; vocalist Shagrath and rhythm guitarist Silenoz are the only original members who still remain, with lead guitarist Galder being a longstanding member.
National Health were an English progressive rock band associated with the Canterbury scene. Founded in 1975, the band featured members of keyboardist Dave Stewart's band Hatfield and the North and Alan Gowen's band Gilgamesh, including guitarists Phil Miller and Phil Lee and bassist Mont Campbell as original members. The band was named after Stewart's National Health spectacles. Bill Bruford was the initial drummer, but was soon replaced by Pip Pyle. Campbell was replaced by Neil Murray and then John Greaves. Alan Gowen stopped performing with the group after their first album, but returned for their final tours, replacing Dave Stewart who resigned after their second album. Guitarist Phil Miller was National Health's only constant member.

Abrahadabra is the ninth studio album by Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir, released in 2010. The first single from the album, "Gateways", was released on 20 August in Europe and 24 August in North America. On 14 September a video for "Gateways" was released featuring Djerv front-woman, Agnete Kjølsrud. On 17 September the song "Born Treacherous" was released on Dimmu Borgir's official Myspace for streaming. On 24 September the band announced they would stream Abrahadabra in its entirety, until 7 p.m. EST that evening. This would mark the first official release of all the tracks on the album. The album features drummer Daray and additional keyboards by Gerlioz.
