BMAT (Barcelona Music and Audio Technologies) [1] is a music company that index all music usage and ownership data. [2] [3] [4] [5] The company monitors and reports music usage globally across TVs, radios, venues and digital. [6] The company provides 80 million identifications and 27 billion matches to CMOs, publishers, record labels, broadcasters and DSPs daily. [7] BMAT monitors radio Airplay, [8] RIM Charts [9] [10] and other charts.

JACAP (Jamaica Association of Composers Authors and Publishers Limited) uses the BMAT digital monitoring system, which was introduced in 2013. The BMAT system monitors music usage of all media houses in Jamaica and keeps records of all musical works composed by JACAP members and affiliated societies. A-Jax was a South Korean boy band formed by DSP Media in 2012. Early in their career, the group was known as DSP Boyz but then was changed to A-Jax. The group's final lineup was composed of five members: Hyeongkon, Yunyoung, Seungjin, Seungyeop, and Junghee. They made the first appearance on TV as a group on MBC Music's Making the Star – DSP Boyz on April 24, 2012. The group made its official debut with the single "One 4 U" in South Korea on June 1 and in Japan on August 8, 2012 with the same song.

Dancehall pop is a sub-genre of the Jamaican genre dancehall that originated in the early 2000s. Developing from the sounds of reggae, dancehall pop is characteristically different in its fusion with western pop music and digital music production. Dancehall pop is also different from dancehall in that most songs use lesser Jamaican Patois in lyrics––allowing it to be globally understood and consumed. It also incorporates the key pop music elements of having melodies, hooks, and the verse-chorus format. Additionally, the genre moves away from the reggae and roots reggae music origins in social and political protest, now lyrically centering on partying, dancing, and sexuality.

"La Bebé" is a song by Mexican singer Yng Lvcas, released as first single from his second mixtape LPM on 24 December, 2021, same day of the release of the mixtape. The song was written by Yng Lvcas and Héctor Adrián Salazar Aguayo and produced by Bounce Bosses. The single and mixtape were released through the independent label We Are Bosses Records, before he signed with Warner Music and his musical catalog became promoted by this company. The song was going to be part of his previous album Wup? Mixtape 1 (2021), an album of corridos but since it was a reggaeton song he decided not to add it.
