Barry Lee Cort (born April 15,1956) is a Canadian-American former baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. [1] Cort was born in Toronto but moved to Florida when he was six months old. [2] He was selected in the fourth round of the 1974 draft. [3] He only played one year,1977,at the major league level. He pitched in seven games,three of which he started. From 1978 to 1981,he played for various minor league teams in the Milwaukee and Oakland farm systems. [4]

Samuel Russell Hinds was a pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. He was selected in the 35th round of the 1971 amateur draft by the St. Louis Cardinals,but never played for them. After graduating from Broward Junior College,he would go on to be signed in 1974 by the Brewers as an undrafted amateur free agent. He made his major league debut in 1977 against the Boston Red Sox. He lost the outing,and would make only two more starts before being demoted to triple A in 1978,then double A in 1979. He finished playing baseball after the 1979 season,having made only three starts in his major league career. Hinds died on September 19,2019 in Hanford,California.
