Bentley Mitchum (born February 22, 1967) is an American actor who has appeared in about 40 films and TV series, including Sundance grand jury prize winner Ruby in Paradise , The Man in the Moon , The Wonder Years , Conviction , Susie Q , Meatballs 4 and Demonic Toys [1] and Shark Attack .
Bentley also became the first American actor to play lead in an Indian Tamil film, Little John opposite Jyothika. [2]
Bentley is the grandson of actor Robert Mitchum, [3] the son of Cindy Davis and actor Christopher Mitchum and the nephew of actor James Mitchum. His acting debut was with them in a TV movie, Promises to Keep, in which the three actors played characters with corresponding relationships. Bentley attended USC and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama. He also started a band called The Velvet Box.
Bentley has two daughters, Allexanne Mitchum, from his marriage to Samra Wolfin, and Carrington Mitchum, from his marriage to Jaime Anstead.
His daughter Allexanne dated Steve Bing. She died on July 4, 2019. [4] [5] [6] Six months after her death, LA coroner Dr. Dutra, determined Allexanne had died from Fentanyl poisoning, most likely given to her by a friend in the form of a fake Xanax.

Dana Michelle Plato was an American actress. An influential teen idol of the late 1970s and early 1980s, she was known for playing Kimberly Drummond on the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes (1978–1986). Her personal struggles with substance abuse were well documented by the media and lead to her premature death at the age of 34. Her life has retrospectively been called a "tragedy".

Different Strokes is a 1998 erotic drama film about a love triangle involving a young couple and another woman. Written and directed by Michael Paul Girard, the film stars Dana Plato, Landon Hall and Bentley Mitchum. The film's title is an allusion to Plato's fame from the TV series, Diff'rent Strokes. It was Plato's first film appearance since 1992, and would be her second to last film before her death in 1999.
