The Billboard Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales, radio play, and online streaming in the United States.
The Billboard charts tabulate the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the United States and elsewhere. The results are published in Billboard magazine. Billboard biz, the online extension of the Billboard charts, provides additional weekly charts, as well as year-end charts. The charts may be dedicated to a specific genre such as R&B, country, or rock, or they may cover all genres. The charts can be ranked according to sales, streams, or airplay, and for main song charts such as the Hot 100 song chart, all three data are used to compile the charts. For the Billboard 200 album chart, streams and track sales are included in addition to album sales.
Broadcast Data Systems, is a service that tracks monitored radio, television and internet airplay of songs based on the number of spins and detections. The service, which is a unit of MRC Data, is a contributing factor to North American charts published by co-owned magazine Billboard, including the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100, when combined with sales and streaming data from MRC Data.
The Billboard Hot Latin Songs is a record chart in the United States for Latin songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine. Since October 2012, chart rankings are based on digital sales, radio airplay, and online streaming, and only predominantly Spanish language songs are allowed to rank. The chart was established by the magazine on September 6, 1986, and was originally based on airplay on Latin music radio stations. Songs on the chart were not necessarily in Spanish language, since a few songs in English and Portuguese language have also charted.
Canadian singer Nelly Furtado has released six studio albums, twenty-eight singles, one video album, one live album, two compilation albums, three extended plays, and twenty-three music videos. Furtado released her debut album Whoa, Nelly! in 2000 and it became a commercial success selling 6 million copies worldwide. The album spawned four singles including the successful top 10 hits "I'm Like a Bird" and "Turn Off the Light". In 2003 she released her second album Folklore, while the album did not match the success of her previous album in such markets as the US and Australia, it did however become a success in several European countries. Folklore has sold 2 million copies worldwide. The album produced two European top 10 hits: "Powerless " and "Força", while "Try" peaked inside the top 10 in Canada.

Excluding streams, Cyrus has sold 75 million singles and 25 million albums worldwide, totalling 100 million records, Cyrus is one of the best selling artists of all time. In June 2007, the series' second soundtrack and Cyrus' debut studio album were jointly released by Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records as the double album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. The project reached number one in the United States. "Lean On" is a song recorded by Jamaican-American electronic dance music group Major Lazer. Featuring French DJ and record producer DJ Snake with vocals from Danish singer MØ, it was released on March 2, 2015 as the lead single from Major Lazer's third studio album, Peace Is the Mission (2015). It was written by MØ, Diplo, William Grigahcine and Jr Blender, and produced by Major Lazer and DJ Snake. It is an EDM, electronic and moombahton song.
"Despacito" is a song by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee from Fonsi's 2019 studio album Vida. Released on January 12, 2017, the song was written by Fonsi, Erika Ender and Daddy Yankee, and produced by Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres. A remix version featuring Canadian singer Justin Bieber was released on April 17, 2017, which helped to improve the song's chart performance in numerous countries, including various number-one positions. "Despacito" has been widely credited by music journalists as being instrumental in popularizing Spanish-language pop music in the mainstream market again.
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She is known for her roles as Paige Olvera on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark and Nini Salazar-Roberts on the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Rodrigo signed with Interscope and Geffen Records in 2020, and released her debut single "Drivers License" in January 2021, which reached number one in multiple countries, including the United States. Her critically acclaimed debut album, Sour, was released on May 21, 2021. It was preceded by two more singles, "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U", with the latter becoming her second single to debut at number one in the US.
Jung Ho-seok , better known by his stage name J-Hope, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, dancer, and record producer. In 2013, J-Hope made his debut as a member of South Korean boy band BTS, managed under Big Hit Music.

The Billboard Indonesia Top 100 is the music industry standard record chart in Indonesia for Indonesian language and/or English-Indonesian language songs, compiled independently in collaboration with ASIRI, with Andhika Septian as the head of this project also as the person who developed the data scoring methodology, Billboard Indonesia Top 100 published weekly by Billboard Indonesia. It ranks the most popular songs in Indonesia based on digital downloads, airplay, online streaming, video streaming, and karaoke play.
