Bluey: The Videogame is a 2023 adventure video game developed by Artax Games and published by Outright Games. It is based on the television series Bluey , and was released on November 17, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Players explore and solve puzzles in four different maps based on Bluey : the Heeler house and a nearby playground, creek, and beach. Four minigames are available, three of which are based on games the Heeler family have played: Keepy Uppy, Ground is Lava, and Magic Xylophone, with Chattermax Chase being an original game. Some of the minigames involve platforming. Players can also collect optional collectables in each level to unlock stickers that appear in the in-game sticker book, and hats to customize the characters. Up to four people can play at once, taking the roles of the Heeler family. [1]
During an idyllic, relaxing holiday, the Heeler family, consisting of Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli, are spurred into a treasure hunt after Bluey discovers one half of a treasure map drawn behind a picture of Bandit in the 80's.
Artax, a Spanish game development studio based in Madrid, worked with Ludo Studio (the company that produces the Bluey television series) and the TV show's voice cast when making Bluey: The Videogame. [2] Many of the production team members who worked on the show also helped with development on the game, such as sound designer Dan Brumm, who also voices Uncle Stripe, who also helped create sound effects for the game adaptation. Outright Games released the for Windows, Xbox One and Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Nintendo Switch on November 17, 2023. [3]
Bluey: The Videogame received overall mixed reviews according to review aggregator Metacritic. [4] Reviews criticized the short length, which clocks in at about one hour to three hours for 100% completion. Reviewers also criticised the high launch price of $40 (USD) on a short length game and noticeable glitches, but said it replicates the look and feel of the TV series. [1] [5] [6] [7]

Rayman Raving Rabbids is a 2006 party video game developed and published by Ubisoft. It's a spinoff for the Rayman series and the debut title for the Rabbids franchise. The story follows Rayman as he was interrupted by an earthquake, in which he was also kidnapped and forced to play minigames with the Rabbids. The game received generally positive reviews from critics, with some criticizing the minigames either being broken or unenjoyable.
Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku is an action-adventure video game released in 2004 by Adrenium Games and published by Sega and based on the Samurai Jack animated television series on Cartoon Network. It is the second game based on the series after Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time on the Game Boy Advance a year prior. The series' original voice actors, including Phil LaMarr, Mako Iwamatsu, Jeff Bennett, John DiMaggio, and Jennifer Hale, reprised their respective roles for the game. The game was released for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. An Xbox version of the game was planned, but never released, even though it was included on the official Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility list.
Kirby is an action-platform video game series developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo. The series centers around the adventures of a bubblegum pink round hero named Kirby as he fights to protect and save his home on the distant Planet Popstar from a variety of threats. The majority of the games in the series are side-scrolling platformers with puzzle-solving and beat 'em up elements. Kirby has the ability to inhale enemies and objects into his mouth, spitting them out as a projectile or eating them. If he inhales certain enemies, he can gain the powers or properties of that enemy manifesting as a new weapon or power-up called a Copy Ability. The series is intended to be easy to pick up and play even for people unfamiliar with action games, while at the same time offering additional challenge and depth for more experienced players to come back to.
