Boulder Media Limited is an Irish animation studio founded by filmmaker Robert Cullen in 2000. It is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian media company Princess Pictures, who purchased the company in 2022 from its previous owner, Hasbro. [1] [3]
Cullen founded Boulder Media in 2000. [2] On 13 July 2016, it became a subsidiary of Hasbro. [1] Boulder Media opened a second location in August 2017 in Dublin on Claremont Road. [4]
On 7 May 2019, Hasbro and Boulder Media announced a new animation film studio to be started. The companies bid on an old ferry terminal for the studio, but was turned down by the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. [5]
On 1 November 2022, Hasbro sold Boulder Media to Australian media company Princess Pictures, known for producing adult animation series Smiling Friends , YOLO , and Koala Man under its Bento Box Entertainment joint venture Princess Bento. [3]

Sunbow Entertainment was an American animation studio and distributor, founded on June 23, 1980, and owned until May 4, 1998, by Griffin-Bacal Advertising in New York City and in the United States. Transformers: Robots in Disguise is an American science-fiction animated television series for children produced by Hasbro Studios and Darby Pop Productions in the United States for Cartoon Network. It was also animated by Polygon Pictures in Japan. It is the stand-alone sequel to Transformers: Prime that ran from 2010 to 2013 on The Hub Network, featuring characters and storylines mostly self-contained from the events of its predecessor as well as an overall more lighthearted tone. Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman did not return to the new series. In the United States, the series ran on Cartoon Network from March 14, 2015, to November 11, 2017.

Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy is a Flash animated children's television series on Discovery Family. Based on toy manufacturer Hasbro's Transformers franchise, the series is a sequel of Transformers: Rescue Bots, sharing the name with the Rescue Bots season three episode called "Rescue Bots Academy". It was created by Rescue Bots co-creator Nicole Dubuc. The first two episodes were previewed on December 8, 2018. The series officially premiered on January 5, 2019. The voice cast of Rescue Bots leaves their roles, with existing characters being recast with New York–based voice actors.
