The Greater Richmond Transit Company, known locally as GRTC, is a local government-owned public service company which operates an urban-suburban bus line based in Richmond, Virginia. In 2022, the system had a ridership of 8,739,400, or about 32,800 per weekday as of the third quarter of 2023.
Pace is the suburban bus and regional paratransit division of the Regional Transportation Authority serving the Chicago metropolitan area. It was created in 1983 by the RTA Act, which established the formula that provides funding to the CTA, Metra, and Pace. In January 2012, CyRide was recognized "as the nation’s small urban transit system with the highest number of rides per capita" at 106 rides per capita. In 2019, CyRide ranked third in the nation with 110.2 rides per capita, behind the transit systems of New York and San Francisco.
