Buehl House, also known as Dr. John Clark House, in Berea, Ohio, was built in 1859. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. [1]

The Berea Historical Society operates the Mahler Museum & History Center in the house. [2]

Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Synagogue United States historic place

Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, now known as Berea Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church, is a historic synagogue building located in the Madison Park neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The former synagogue, built as an early home of the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, is built of ashlar gray granite from Port Deposit, Maryland. It is a well-executed, 19th century version of a Byzantine church, designed by Charles L. Carson, a Baltimore architect. It features a large central dome, 40 feet in diameter, resting on a high octagonal drum pierced by rectangular windows of stained glass and two tall octagonal towers flanking the main entrance.

Berea Union Depot

The Berea Union Depot is a train station in Berea, Ohio, United States, which was built in 1876. As the railroad facilities through town grew, there was a demand in the early 1870s by developers and townspeople for a new passenger and freight station. When it was dedicated on May 3, 1876, The Plain Dealer called it "the finest facility outside the big cities." As a union station, it served the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway and the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway, both of which became part of New York Central Railroad. It ceased to serve as a railway depot in 1954. In 1980, the building was restored as a restaurant and gathering place.

Baldwin-Wallace College South Campus Historic District United States historic place

The Baldwin-Wallace College South Campus Historic District is an area of land on the south end of the Baldwin Wallace University campus. When the district was established, the school was Baldwin-Wallace College. BW is a four-year private, coeducation, liberal arts college in Berea, Ohio, United States. The school was founded in 1845 as Baldwin Institute by Methodists settlers. Eventually the school merged with nearby German Wallace College in 1913 to become Baldwin-Wallace College, which adopted the present name in 2012. Several buildings since its founding have been established on the National Register of Historic Places, establishing this area as the Baldwin-Wallace College South Campus Historic District.

Fairview is an historic home located near Fredericksburg, Virginia at 2020 Whitelake Drive. It is the largest of the historic homes in Spotsylvania County. The house was built in 1837 by Samuel Alsop, Jr. (1776-1859). Alsop was an architect and builder who designed a number of buildings in Spotsylvania including the Old Berea Church and Kenmore Woods (1829), which he built for his daughter.

Berea–Biddle Street Historic District United States historic place

The Berea–Biddle Street Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is located in the far eastern part of the historic city bounds, and is roughly bounded by the Edison Highway, Federal Street, North Rose Street, and the railroad tracks of the Penn Central Railroad. This area was one of the last to be developed within the city's 1851 boundaries, and consists mainly of two-story rowhouses built between about 1890 and 1925. The centerpiece of the district is the St. Katherine of Sienna Roman Catholic church and school complex.
